More enemies, less ammo. I know I probably seem crazy for asking for more ganado, but that's what I want. The story also has some loose ends to tie up, so it would be nice if Capcom did that for us.
Also, NO STRAFING. This is survival horror, not action. RE4 was a step in the right direction, but it didn't retain enough scares. RE5 needs to actually be scary, and strafing would pretty much eliminate that.

Agreed, Absent Elements (or whomever you are). I remember that EGM (Electronic Gamer Monthly) actually subtracted points from RE4 because it didn't have strafing. LAME! If you want to strafe, buy SOCOM or Halo. This is Resident Evil. It's supposed to be scary. And if you can easily sneak around your foes, it ISN'T SCARY. In any case, the next Resident Evil should at least be on Revolution first and foremost. More enemies onscreen would be a real panicfest, especially if they were all chainsaw-weilding madmen. But I have this one idea where, at one point in the game, your character actually gets his guns taken away from him and is dumped in a giant maze. Here, he has to escape a prowling serial killer that is armed with a shotgun AND a chainsaw. Sound scary?

A more difficult final boss.

A more difficult final boss. Agreed. Saddler is a chump. Salazar was the hardest in the game (RE4), and he's a midget dressed like Thomas Jefferson!

i agree to disagree i guess because straffing would be nice but you don't have to have it i was just expecting it since leon's you know a cop but the should put in some sort of duck or dodge because he does it enough during cut scenes but that's the only time

Resident Evil is probably hands down my favorite series ever. I still remember picking up Resident Evil the first day it came out and it was in that nice big case for the Playstation. Now for Resident Evil I'd love to see craziness like you running around in a city along with a lot of other people they're all screaming and running like they've got somewhere to go...you never know when someone next to you will turn into a zombie and jump at you.
I'd also like to see a game where when you get bit it shows on your character and you'll need to heal yourself and bandage it up before you turn into one of them yourself.

That's good and all... A friend of mine tells me the next game may take place either in Hong Kong or Texas. So, maybe that whole "city" aspect might be revisited. However, who's gonna be the main character this time? Chris Redfield? Jill Valentine? Leon? Claire? Or maybe Barry?

Have Zombies, a little better graphics, and be able to choose a story line of just see how long you can last in a city slowly becoming infected....a senario like that would not be much different from the engine of those grand theft autos...plus I think it would be cool to go online with it....thats my idea

RE4 started during the day and then it turned to night. Besides, there has only been one trailer released for RE5. There aren't any real solid details yet, although I do think it'll take place in daylight a lot. A truly scary game doesn't have to rely on the dark, you know.

the darkness part makes the game look very scrary, but i do also agree that i doesnt have to. I saw a couple screenshots of Chris looking around in a street corner at daytime. anouther of a dozen zombies running torwards chris.

I don't mind the day time. I like that in scary games, because not all scary things happen at night.
