I have no clue...
It's not a Zelda scale RPG, but it's not meant to be. The game is focused more on the battle, which are incredibly deep with strategies. Yeah, the plot isn't all that good, and you can beat it fast for an RPG, but it also has multiplayer, which is great...

I've played it and I like it a lot! As most (if not all) of you know, there's a Custom Robo review over at Random Nintendo.

I dont like it....its too repetitive to me. There's really no control in the game, its always linear, just fight, talk, get parts, sleep, repeat. I mean...I have very little control in the game...I never can fight anyone I want to. I am forced to fight those certain people...what about those kids or others who have robos? why cant I fight the machines in the training gym? I got really bored when I began playing...my brother bought it. I finished "A new journey" a few weeks ago, and Im not really eager for the tournament thing. Sure you also have lots of customization...but I can win the fights so easily. Just mashing the "B" button then when they are knocked down bomb em or something...the game kinda has no strategy...I used most of the same weapons throught the whole game. Gun=flame Bomb=forgot what it is. Legs=high jump. Model=Ray 01 Pod=dont even use these things...so I dont know...so to me..the game had lots of improvements...and Im not one to brag graphics but they should have been better, not something I would see on a dreamcast, or not very much texture, too bland for me. Sound is ok....and the music can barely be heard at times...I even forget about it until I kill someone and its all slow-mo like...but other than that...its just...eh..

There's a lot more strategy involved in the Grand Battle...
It's a series of tournaments, but they all have different rules. A majority of them are single-use tournaments, where once you win a battle with certain parts, you can't use them for the rest of the tournament (except legs)...

But its still not enough for me. I've seen my brother play and beat it but its still ..just not good enough

I'd have to agree with Yoshi, the game was way too repetitive, you fight the final boss like 4 times and the story is repetiive and long and boring and prdeictable

I have it and love it. The single player is a little slow though.
