Ok, the rumor mill is stirring again,
EBGames, Gamestop, and even IGN Gamestore have set their release dates for RE4 to 2005 (spring)

It's been like that for a while now. But, Capcom has stated that RE4 is still on track for a November release.

Agh, all they'll say is winter... and I want a definite release date for it before I pre-order... I really want to get it before Christmas, and if Capcom doesn't get it out in time for holiday shopping they'll lose a ton of potential sales.

And JSR, A Capcom Rep just noted that it is stated to ship "this winter" which is Pretty much Nov- Feb

not neccesarily, look at DOOM III and Halo II, the inticipation of theses games increased sales because more people learn how much better it will be and they will order or buy it

Those games haven't been pushed back because they haven't been given dates... besides, RE4 will lose sales, and so would those games if they came out after Christmas. |

The 15th and 16th of November will be the biggest two days in game releases all year if all the titles hold up. MP:2, RE4, plenty of others.
