The Metroid Prime 2 Bonus Disc Rumors Are True!

That's right... The rumors of a demo disc for Metroid Prime 2 are 100% true! At the Nintendo Store you can renew your Nintendo Power subscription and get a free Metroid Prime 2 bonus disc! Here's what the disc contains and looks like:

Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Playable Demo - A fully playable demo that will put you behind the visor and experience the mysterious planet Aether before any one else.
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Trailer and Preview - The trailer and preview are a glimpse of the action to come.
The Metroid Chronicle - A look at past games and a timeline for the Metroid universe.
The Metroid Art Gallery - Concept, sketch and fully realized artwork from Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 Echoes.

Now, before you go buy this, remember that Nintendo might give this away as a bonus for My Nintendo members who register certain games. While it's not official yet, I think it'll happen.

Well, they want me to register five games, so forget that. I don't think four games exists that I'd want to buy that contain pins. Metroid, Mario & Luigi... that's about it... anyway, I doubt I'll renew just for that disc. My subscription is still good for a while.

Bah, i only have three games with pins, and I'm not exactly fond of the others so I'm not going to go out and by two more for them. Can you get it through getting a subscription? I still don't have one. xD

Lucky Shiva....the only games I have registered are Mario and Luigi, FFCC, and MK: DD. I lost the pin for my Classic NES LoZ ().

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

And I'll be registering my Classic NES Super Mario Bros. once I find my pin.

Too bad I can't register my GBA and GBASP... the serial numbers came off somehow..

I registered my GBA and GCN too, forgot them. Only the games count though. Darn, i had the pin right next to me yesterday too, I think my dad threw it out. Boo. I may buy Pokemon Colleseum though, pretty fun game that takes a while to beat.

Actually, you have to register your GCN to qualify. GCN and 5 games. So yeah.. it does count.
