After months and weeks of guessing, Nintendo has come foward and has revealed the Secret Component.
And No...Its not a camera!
Its....
Its....
ITS......
ITS......
ITS...........................
A MICROPHONE! Its called the Gamecube Mic
and as previously announced, its comming with Mario Party 6.
Read on from GamecubeAdvanced:
The Nintendo GameCube Mic to come bundled.
Nintendo has just sent out word that Nintendo's upcoming Mario Party 6 will be like no Mario Party before. With more than 75 all- new mini-games, six fresh game boards, and Nintendo GameCube Mic, Mario Party 6 is set to please everyone looking for some fun.
Mario Party 6 features a brand new time system giving the game boards and mini-games a split personality with the introduction of day and night throughout the game. Boards will transform, characters will emerge, and mini-games will change dramatically depending on the time of day throughout the game.
All of this will be controlled with the bundled Nintendo GameCube Microphone where players will crash in such mini-games as Mowtown, Catch Your Letter, Astaroad, Rage, and Cashapult.
The game will feature Mario™, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi®, Daisy, Wario™, Waluigi, Boo, Koopa Kid, Bowser, Donkey Kong® and Toad as players battle it out through more than 75 all new mini games.
Players will progress through the game with the microphone in hand and issue voice commands throughout the mini-games, telling their character what to do and how to react to the certain game, all while competing with three other friends or CPU players for coins and stars.
Mario Party is yet again to set the stage for the future of party games. With Mario Party 6, future Mario Party's will never be the same.
Nintendo has also announced 2 other games that will use the Mic. Read again from GCAdvanced:
Mario Party 6 isn't the only game using the Nintendo GameCube Mic.
With the recent annoucement of Mario Party 6 using the upcoming GameCube Mic, Nintendo has sent word out again that it isn't the only game developer using the new GameCube peripheral.
Game developer XS Games is set to unleash two new games for the Nintendo GameCube in November in America.
Git on da Mic is a Karaoke game that will work with the new Mic, and Git on da Floor will be a new dancing game.
No other information is known so far, but with one of those games using the GameCube Mic, the other might be using some type of dance pad since it is a dancing game.
More to come soon.
