I honestly hate these types of threads... it's your tastes... why ask for other's opinions? It's their opinions.. If you like Pokemon, get any of the Pokemon games that are out. Metroid, get Metroid. Mario, get any of the Mario games. Like racing, go grab one.. Sports, football, or whatever.. get whatever you liked reading about the best...

Okay here I go: Metroid Prime Metroid Prime is an instant classic. The visuals and stunning gameplay make it one of the best games on the GCN. Pikmin 2Graphics are also very intense. The gameplay is addicting a fun. Expect hours of fun in Battle Mode. F-Zero GX Awesome racer. Read JSR's RN Review and find out why it rocks! Kirby Air Ride 'Nuff Said Super Mario Sunshine Awesome game! Forget the reviews, trust me, an awesome game! Hope that helps

I would highly suggest buying: - Pikmin 2
- Donkey Konga
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (When it comes out.)
Don't forget to start saving up for the DS too.

I honestly hate these types of threads... it's your tastes... why ask for other's opinions? It's their opinions.. *edited out rest of post* Wait, where is his post did he say he wanted opinions on what games to buy? He didn't ask for others' opinions on what games he should buy, he asked for what games we thought were the best on the market - that has nothing to do with influencing him to purchase anything. The entire purpose of an online forum is to post your opinions and ask for the opinions of others, just so you know. Perhaps try reading the post before accusing him of making an elsewise "generic" and "annoying" post. Anyways, here are the three biggest games (both best and most important, economically) available now (or soon), in my opinion: 1) Paper Mario 2 - This is one of the most hyped games of the last year, and it is finally here. I went to Gamers today to get it (back-ordered, boo), which, in my experiences, has leaned more towards X-Box in their salespoints. They two guys at the desk were both really pumped that it was coming out. That means to me that even the competition realizes it is here. 2) Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - What's a PM2 without an MP2? For Nintendo, I think this game will be not only good, but important. Nintendo has to have a way to at least Halo 2 under reigns. They may not be able to overthrow Halo 2, but they do have to compete on some level, and MP2 is the best chance. 3) Viewtiful Joe 2 - Again, this sequel has been hyped forever, and it will be sweet once it finally comes out. I think this could potentially be the best of the three, though I have a feeling it will be slightly undervalued in comparison. As long as it doesn't lose anything from the first, I think it will do just wonderfully and make for a great buy.

The entire purpose of an online forum is to post your opinions and ask for the opinions of others, just so you know. Perhaps try reading the post before accusing him of making an elsewise "generic" and "annoying" post. The thing is, this type of thread is the same type of thread others have made on this, and other forums. It's the same thing. The person is asking what the best games are, so they could see if they want a certain game if it's liked by other's alot. Even if it doesn't seem that way. Same purpose either way. So maybe you should think about THAT first, before quoting any of my posts.
