^You know, it may be best to just call it LoZ. It really doesn't need a subtitle.

Personally, I could care less; I don't like the Zeldas anymore, besides Wind Waker. But it's fun making names about a game, I guess, even if I won't play it. RE4 is the better exclusive, if you ask me. RE4 actually tries something new. Zelda, while they are fun, they mostly try to cover up rehashed elements of the game by adding a dull plot, involving rehashed stuff from previous games. Adventuring is okay, but I'd like to see new characters!
Like Halo, Zelda is a bit overrated, if you ask me. But that's just me.

It introduced new gameplay mechanics and characters to the series, which seem to be your biggest complaint.

If you don't mind me asking, why don't you like Wind Waker? It introduced new gameplay mechanics and characters to the series, which seem to be your biggest complaint. Well, it's not the new elements that bother me, but the old ones that stay. Sure, they add new characters like Medli, Makar and others, but they have to keep the old ones there, like Ganondorf and such. I understand that it takes place 100 years after OoT, but in other universes, the Master Sword is there. -_- If they really want to change things up, and catch my interest, completely change the game, but with, as the title might say, Zelda. So, instead of 'Legend of Zelda: [insert [name of specific item of significance here]', it could be an entirely new game with nearly everything never seen before; a new hero, a new villain, a new universe, and the only thing staying there being Zelda... But, when did I say that I hated Wind Waker? That was the only one I liked. Wind Waker was the one to get me started on the franchise, and I thought it was the best Zelda game. It was everything I'd wanted in it... It was the one to try and change things, even if sailing on the King of Red Lions was annoying at how long you had to go around sailing, and then start searching for all those Triforce shards and collecting all those rupees. But it doesn't bother me much. It was a fun game. But I don't think I want to experience another Zelda; I think I'm content with the Zeldas I have (Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time Bonus Disc, and the Collector's Edition copy from Nintendo.com), but I might go for Four Swords Adventures. I just hope my opinion doesn't bother you.. I really don't want to cause any riots, or cause me to get banned because I don't agree with particular people.

Don't worry, your opinion won't get you in trouble, lol. There's nothing wrong with sharing your opinion. Anyway, onto what you actually said about Zelda: While I think you make some good points that the series needs something that's new, I don't think the series should be in a different universe. It just wouldn't feel like Zelda, to me at least. Maybe the new GameCube Zelda will have more new stuff? But, when did I say that I hated Wind Waker? That was the only one I liked. Er... It looks like I misread your earlier post. Sorry about that.

I got a good bet that the new name for the Zelda game will be based off of some new item of some sort. Look at the facts:
Zelda: Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask Four Swords Four Swords Adventures Wind Waker Minish Cap
All these based off of an important items in each game.

I do understand that it might not be right about some elements leaving. It just bothers me that Ganondorf is in three lands at once. Same with the Master Sword. And Zelda, possibly, could have a significant role in the plot, but not necessarily be princess every single time. Heck, it wouldn't bother me one bit if she were a peasant with a highly fortunate future, or some special fortune entrusted to her. I would love to see you actually be able to play as her, actually. Just think, she does her hair and mows down enemies with a bow. That'd be cool... I just don't think having her use the Master Sword would be too cool. I, as possibly said before, would love to see it leave, and have the new item of significance be that one special item in every game. Basically, you used it to get the Master Sword. Every time. That's just boring that you have to get it in EVERY SINGLE GAME. I understand Link is a swordsman, but couldn't they change things up? Like have him fetch a different sword in a game? Cause I know Soul Calibur II had some swords for Link that were nice, why not have Nintendo implement them in the next Zelda and have it substitute for the Master Sword, at least for now. So, in a nutshell, Zelda games are fresh in, for the most part, multiple ways. I just want to see it be fresh in more than the amount of ways it has seen. With the substitution of major elements, at least for a couple games... But I'd be the first kid in my state to have the one Zelda, with her actually playable! That would be way cool, if she had all of her moves from SSBM. She could turn into Shiek, and prevent Ganondorf or whatever new threat to her from holding her captive. Don't you agree that that'd be cool?

I wonder which races are in this one. For hope's sake the Kokiri better not be those mutant freaks in the Wind Waker. I hope the Gorons come back. As for Ganondorf, I hope he is more difficult then usual.

She's the one being rescued... Why would she be playable?

Last time Zelda was a playable character it was when she was the main character in one of the I-Phillips CD games. Man those games insult the Zelda Franchise.

Why would she be playable? Well, that's when you rewrite the story! See, I meant that she isn't being held captive. She tries to make sure she doesn't GET kidnapped. And then she finds Link or something, and the two work together using their unique abilities, like switching between them on the fly. Link could be good for close range, hand to hand combat. Zelda could perform far range and magic attacks, sort of like her moveset from SSBM. Nintendo should try to fix it up a little more than they have, lately. It just feels like more of the same...

Pure Evil - The CD-i games were horrible, lol.
Symph - It's a good idea, but like I said earlier, I think it'd be better off as a spin-off. Nintendo's already making a game staring Princess Peach (for the DS). The Big N can do it again with Zelda.

Lol, if they don't include a subtitle, people will just be utterly confused. [See Metroid 2] Seriously though, some people have a major problem with understanding where a game fits in a series if there is no subtitle...don't ask me why though.
