Heh. WarioWare: Touched also comes out on Valentine's Day. It would make a great gift for that special someone, wouldn't it? I remember NP had a tear out WW Valentine. It read: "Roses are Red, Violets are Poo! I think Love Stinks And now, so do You!" It was funny, my friends were like ooookay :I ... It made me laugh. One of the poopies had Wario decorations

I refuse to buy this game because I want Nintendo to get the message that Starfox should stay in space. The rail shooting missions were what made Star Fox the great series it was, and they decide to go screw it up: first with SFA, now with Assault. I couldn't believe it when I heard there was so many ground missions, I thought this was the title that was supposed to be the sequel to SF64. Point is...Starfox on ground = t3h suck

I've heard the on-foot missions aren't THAT bad, though. I'll let you guys know what I think of Assault when I pick up a copy this week.

I would like to get it, but I lack the funds.
I just saw the commercial on TV a few minutes ago.

Okay, so I finally got my hands on a copy of Star Fox Assault (and Wario Ware ). The multi-player is much better than what we saw on the N64. I like how you can drive the tank, fly in the arwing, and run around on-foot in multi-player. The ground combat system is much better than I expected, after reading how horrible it was from the reviews. At this point, it's worth a rent (though I bought it), and if you have friends, it's probably worth multi-player action.

Star Fox is fun, but I don't think it's quite as good as the N64 version. The on-foot levels are better than I thought, but I wish Nintendo and Namco included more rail-shooter missions.

After Playing it I'd say it's definately a "No-Fly Zone" as far as a $50 purchase is concerned. It's just ntoa true sequel. 3/10 missions are Arwing in the Rail Mode I think if I remmeber correctly and that doesn't cut it for me.

So, apparently our views are mixed. And Namco didn't do the job we'd hoped they would. GF365 says it's good, but everyone else says wait for a price drop. I might wait for a price drop, but only because I'm wanting too much stuff lately. I hate it when too many things I want come out all at once.

Don't listen to what reviewers say. Everyone has their own game preferences. No single reviewer will ever have the same taste as you. Reviews are good for getting an idea of what the game is like, but if we were to base everything off of reviews, San Andreas and Halo 2 would be considered the best games ever created, which I believe, they're far from. Agreed, especially on the Halo and GTA comment. I wasn't too bad on StarFox. I played the N64, but never owned it. I will pick it up when it drops in price or if my friend sells me his. He enjoyed it. His only grips is the ground missions. The actual running part of the ground missions. For some odd reason they took out stafe. I still need to play SFA. I've played about 4 hours into it. It's really not as bad as everyone says it is.

Most likely I'll get a price drop, though, because I'm wanting too many things and it's hard to choose between them...

It might have been to Zeldaish, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I wish they went with a different name though. Now if you say "SFA" I get confused.
