Yeah, it's supposed to be really scary. I didn't find RE4 to be all that scary though.. But in response to Greg saying he couldn't handle Silent Hill, yeah SH is pretty scary..namely because it takes a different approach, it uses psychological terror as opposed to zombie scares. Each game uses a different theme of psychological terror. But if you want a really scary game, you should see Fatal Frame..man, that one is pretty messed up. o.o That game I want... too bad my Mom won't let me buy M games.

It is for what, GameCube? It's for PS2..sadly you don't see a lot of survival horror on Gamecube, just the RE series and Eternal Darkness..maybe a few others.

*sigh* I expected to attract some attention... First things first: I didn't trade the game in because I hated it; Far from it, I loved the game. It's just that I thought I was ready to move onto to older games, and that RE4 would be the key to that particular door locked for the past 9 years. As it turns out, it unlocked that door, but I was far from ready. Keep in mind, I was twelve and I've never played a survival horror game. So RE4 was completely out of the water for me. And for that, I decided to trade it in... I thought I was ready, and I proved myself wrong; I wasn't ready. So I traded it in and got 18 bucks store credit at GameStop. For games that I won't have troubles wanting to play because I got scared. But I still loved it. I just wasn't ready. I guess my brother's mature games will have to do until I'm old enough to buy. What exactly did you find so scary? Was it the blood and violence or what? That game I want... too bad my Mom won't let me buy M games. That conflicts with your other post, how did you get RE4 then?

For the first question: It was a mixture of both, it was scary and violent enough to get me to never play it again. Second: To assure I could at least try it, I wrote a report speaking about the game. Dad said yes, Mom said yes, but she regrets it and I won't buy other games that are Mature..... until I consider myself 'Mature'. Fatal Frame was T? One store still sells it on Xbox... maybe I could try it. But I want the sequel, and that's BOUND to be Mature.
