Well, I've finally acquired 4 out of 10 different endings in Shadow the Hedgehog. Has anyone picked up the game yet?

I didn't get it yet...I've got a busy Nintendo week right now. Animal Crossing, Mario Tennis Advance Tour, Strikers.. How is Shadow?

Well, you COULD read my review of the game in Reader Reviews. But, I'll just say this: if anyone says that

*"it's a lame cash-in on Sega's part to appeal to the Mature crowd"

*"it's a lame adaptation of Sonic games"

*"guns and vehicles don't belong in a Sonic game"
or
*"it's flat-out crap"

DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THEM. The game screams. Shadow kicks more behind than Sonic and this game is proof. Hopefully, we'll recieve a follow-up on Revolution.

I dunno, it doesn't look so good after GameInformer's review.

I'll just buy Sonic Rush and walk around the mine field.

Game Informer whines about Sonic games not being intuitive or original. Then they turn around and give each and every new GTA a 10.
I don't take their word for it. Never did.
The only reason why I get their ragazine is for the GameStop discount card.
As far as Sonic Rush goes, by all means, get it. (By the way, GI unfairly gave it a 7 for "Being too unoriginal")

I'd probably get beaten up by my brother for buying Shadow, and several kids (Oh no, Shadow said 'Damn!' it's vulgar and too strong for me! Come on) will shun me from society. I will probably rent it, just so I can see what it's like.

Sonic Rush I can guarantee will be good, it may be hard but I can bypass that.

Renting it is probably the best idea. I just went ahead and bought it. I'm not saying that was a mistake... but this game may not be for everyone. It has its fair share of problems. The voice acting is downright painful, cheap deaths still occur, the gunplay isn't that well-thought-out, and no matter who you try to help (Good or bad) they will all still try to kill you. Fortunately, the gameplay is solid, guns actually help the game move forward faster, the story is pretty interesting, the cutscenes are like watching a Pixar film, and the level and boss designs kick butt.

I dunno, with the reviews I think I'll wait until I find it for cheap used somewhere, or I'll rent it, whatever. At least it can't be as bad as Billy Hatcher. Worst. Sonic. Game. Ever.

Er... Billy Hatcher isn't a Sonic game.

Not to mention it wasn't a terrible game. I actually had lots of fun with it, although I can say that there isn't anything about it that'll make you stick around for the ending. But hey, a mixture of Katamari Damacy and Super Mario 64 is a good mix.

I also think that Billy Hatcher is a pretty fun game. It has a very childish feel to it, but the gameplay is quite solid.

I dunno, I picked it up thinking it looked good but I got tired of it real quick. All the levels seemed to have been culled from the reject bin from the 3D Sonic games(hence my calling it the worst Sonic game ever), and I wasn't too impressed with the egg pushing dynamic, I felt it was more of a pain than anything else. At least I enjoyed the multiplayer mode. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Who knows, sometime down the line I may pick it up again and see it in new light.

My younger bro rented the game off of Netflix Gamefly(my bad). He kinda liked it, but he thought it was difficult. I played it, but I thought it kinda sucked.
I thought that the 3D sonic games were bad, but then again I was never a big Sonic the Hedgehog fan anyways.

Same here.

I mean they have bad camera, the gameplay isn't really all that great. I mean I don't see the big attraction to Sega Genesis. Not really a Sega Genesis fan as much as I like the Master System, Dreamcast, and Saturn.
