I have finally picked up a copy of Resident Evil 4. It was a Player's Choice version however, but was only $20. I picked it up from the whim of a friend.
I gotta say that I have to take back everything I said about Resident Evil 4, which I bashed after playing the demo. I have to say after playing it into, currently into chapter 2, that it is much more enjoyable that I remember it being in the demo version. It is by far the best Resident Evil game out there. The gameplay has been cleaned up ALOT. Although I have to complain about not being able to back up or strafe side-to-side while shooting. Wish the game was scary however. It's not really scary at all. It is basically just really intense at the most.
I had a dream last night that I was playing RE4. That was annoying as hell, for I wanted to dream about nothing or something less intense. I kept waking up, but then I would fall asleep and the dream was still there. T_T
I think Leon is pretty cool, for a video game character that is.

RE 4...most definately one of the premier games on the GCN system. I was completely blown away by how good it was. As Gamespot said when they dubbed it GotY 2005, "Games have no business being this good"

Yeah, it's a great game. It might not freak you out, but the gameplay is way above the other Resident Evil titles.

I think that it's a great game, but it is a bit overrated.

I think that it's a great game, but it is a bit overrated. Overrated? We could all say that RE4 was the one game out of a million to save the planet from a swarm of meteorites, but that would only be overrating it by a tiny bit. If you, like me, love RE4 with all your evil little heart, avoid being let down by the PS2 version. The controls are so sloppy and unresponsive that Leon will lose his head to Dr. Salvador (The chainsaw man) time and time again due to unfairness rather than panic or actual challenge. Oh, sure, it has Ada Wong mode and new costumes and weapons that make the game so easy, a hamster could beat it. But that's only if you REALLY REALLY want those additions.

I still need to buy Resident Evil 4... Please don't kill me. What's worse is you've admitted to never owning Super Metroid, shame on you. Wait, was I supposed to keep that a secret?

I still need to buy Resident Evil 4... Please don't kill me. No reason to kill you. I agree it was intimidating to get interested in, so I won't kill you, but for the $20 now, it is worth it. You don't own a single Castlevania game? I don't own any either, but that doesn't mean that I didn't use to.

I take it that the game takes place in a rural part of Spain? Roy (who is like Argetinian or something) knew what the hell they were saying. So I'm just wondering if they are in Spain.

Yeah, they're in Spain. The Spanish in the game is authentic, for the most part.

For the most part? I understood everything, so what did you not get? or was there something mispronounced or something?
