I hate Sony, but I love Sly Cooper, Shadow of the Colossus, and my PS2. Shouldn't let your hatred keep you away from some great stuff. I still have my PS1 and those games. I hated $ony after the P$2 has been out a few years.

Ah, the constant, yearly "rehashed-sequelitus syndrome." Yes, it's common in companies who believe that so long as they release a game under a popular franchise, people won't care what's in it. But even then, I'm not afraid to admit that they did good with games like Sly Cooper. I just wish that they'd actually try something REALLY new, unexpected even, with their older IPs, like Nintendo does with theirs almost every new entry.

Ratchet & Clank was something new and the second only improved upon it with the RPG-like experience system. Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal I liked, but gave the lowest score because it didn't offer much new. I mean, I loved the side-scrolling levels, but it was shorter than the second (about as long as the first, actually....which was between 8 and 10 hours). I think it's undeniably the best platforming franchise this generation though.

I beat the first one in about 6 hours, and the second in about 7, the third one took me a day and a half though.

Im really good at action platformers, and the second one was easier then the first, but alittle bit longer.
