Probably. Nintendo said that they plan to continue making GameCube games into 2008~ish, and I don't see why they would stop. AWSOME ;D

I'm not sure when Nintendo said that, but I get the feeling that the plan's been changed. Nintendo has moved practically all of its unreleased GameCube games to the Wii: Super Paper Mario, Kirby, DK Bongo Blast, etc. I think Nintendo has pretty much given up on the Cube and just wants to focus on the Wii and DS.

Well I at least I have a DS to have fun with

I don't feel any console dies out. I see on ebay that someone sells their unopened super smash bros for n64 for around 80 dollars, and people are actually bidding on it. Products in video games don't die out, they just become less popular?
Maybe if they lowered the prices once again, I would buy a gamecube

uh, i dont think the gc can possibly lower price anytime soon, at least in a radius of 5 or so years.... $99 for a gc isnt that bad really...and what people dont realize is that the first console to ever come about, which was that magnivox hunk of junk, cost $100 at release in 1972, and due to inflation now, $100 is worth about $360 now, and the games were expensive also.

but if you lower the price of the gc wont the sales also go up? because i dont really think anyone would buy a gc for 100 dollars or so if they can save it for one of the next gen or the ds
