Me? I think the idea is stupid. The GBA is basically dead. Nobody cares about it anymore. All the focus is going to the DS and the PSP. I really don't care if it has a brighter and clearer screen. And it doesn't even play GB or GBC games. Nintendo has wasted their money, yet again...

I don't see the reason for me to get one. I have a GBA (or what's left of it), a GBA SP, a DS, and a PSP. I'm set when it comes to handhelds for a long while. Then again, they do seem like they are trying to reach out to another audience with it's compact size and customizable faceplates. If it is packaged with a Play-Yan, people who have never owned a GBA might go for it.

If it's really cheap or is the only way to get a Play-Yan, I would seriously consider a Game Boy Micro. But, if isn't either of those things, I don't see the point in buying one. I already have a GBA, a SP, a Game Boy Player, and a DS. Do I (or anyone else, for that matter) really need yet another version of the GBA?

I don't really want since I have already a GBA and SP and getting the DS soon. Good idea but it's too late.

It doesn't play the old GB games? Crap... guess selling my SP wasn't such a good idea after all... Oh well; I dunno if I'll get a GBM. Prolly not though.

Yeah, it did seem like a ridiculous idea to me.. the way I see it, the SP is small enough... but this is just so small that it shrinks the screen size. That is gonna hurt on text-heavy rpgs.

Nope, it doesn't hurt them at all. I played Pokemon Emerald on the Micro at E3. Trust me no squinting involved at all.

$99. Well, I don't think this'll do that well, personally.

Who says the GBA is dead?(maybe till Nintendo univels the next true GB successor) Currently, the GBA line still has a lot of games(even though most of them are or aren't quality) a big userbase. I can understand most of you guys dislike another GBA rehash, but I see the GBM expanding that userbase to attract another audience who dosen't like the look of the GBA/SP or does not have a GBA yet. Only reason why I want to buy a GBM is to retire taking my indigo GBA on the go and use it exclusively at home while I can use the GBM to take with me to play games on the go, instead. If it's really cheap or is the only way to get a Play-Yan, I would seriously consider a Game Boy Micro. Hopefully, Nintendo considers bringing Play-Yan to the states and release it as a bundle exclusively with GBM to give people(who likes multimedia) a reason to buy it. And people who already have a GBA can take a pass on the GBM and stick with their GBA, GBP, GBA/SP or wait paitently for the true GBA successor.

At this point, I doubt that we'll see Play-Yan bundled with Micro. If Nintendo were to make a bundle, they probably would have announced it when they revealed Micro's price and release date.

Ha you won't see me with one of them until; the price really drops.
I must admit it is a stylish little machine and I love the look of the whole thing but I am with alot of people and just see it as....pointless.

Yeah, text on a small screen doesen't really require squinting, for some reason. I can watch subtitled anime on my PSP without any problems at all, for some reason. Nope, it doesn't hurt them at all. I played Pokemon Emerald on the Micro at E3. Trust me no squinting involved at all.
