First @ RN: During chat at NSider, NOA_Mac (a Nintendo of America employee) told us that on October 25, Nintendo will be releasing a second set of Classic NES Series games. Here's the list of games (according to Mac): - Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- Metroid
- Dr. Mario
- Castlevania
Thanks to NOA_Mac for the info. Edit: I removed Ice Hockey from the list. It appears that Ice Hockey is not part of the second set of Classic NES titles. Sorry to anyone that was looking forward to Ice Hockey.

Mac is the best. ;D
I don't think I'll pick any of those up, but it's cool news for people that will.

Im gonna get Ice Hockey, Dr. Mario and Castlevania since I don't have those. I used to have Castlevania but got rid of it cause I later called it the Controller Destroyer game. I lost 2 controllers cause of that game.

This has not been "offically confirmed" but I trust Mac But, hey, this is great! I can't wait to finally blast through the orginal Metroid, battle through Castlevania, Pile Pills in Dr. Mario, Slash 2D Style yet again in LoZ:II, and um....do whatever Ice Hockey is for Great Find JSR!

I triple-checked this with Mac, and he claims that it was announced today. But, as you can tell, Nintendo hasn't made a real announcement yet. *shrugs*

LOL. Get some attention huh? Heres the post for those who are too lazy to read it "First @ RN: Random Nintendo has learned that Nintendo plans on releasing a second set of Classic NES Series games for the Game Boy Advance. For more information, check out JSR's thread about it at the redesigned RN Forums. Here's a link to the thread. - Posted by JSR on 8/10/04 | 3:33 PM, PST"

Sorry guys, but I don't think Ice Hockey is part of the series. IGN and Game Informer are not reporting Ice Hockey as one of the games in the new round of Classic NES titles. Sorry to everyone that wanted Ice Hockey. But hey, RN was still the first video game site to report this news.

Dam, no Ice Hockey. O well but it seems Dr. Mario will have wire and wireless link play which will be good.
