Well then I can't wait play FFVI!
Though I will think FFVII will remain as the greastest game ever to be created IMO.

FF VII was awesome but there is no way I could say it is #1. That's why I hate picking a best of all time with games.
There are probably about 15 games that I just couldn't place in any order. I just couldn't pick one.

Sure its his opinion, and I respect that. I just dont understand what people think is so awesome about FF7 that they would say its the best game of all time. I played it when it came out, it is a VERY good RPG. IMO, however, there are far superior RPGs, not to mention games in general. As I look back on it, FF7 was awesome but I dont believe it stood the test of time.

Didn't stand the test of time? Quite the harsh words, there. Some might kill you over it, too.

Let them come. (/Theoden)
Really though, I just dont really think that FFVII was revolutionary in any way. The one thing I will give it credit for is having one of the most surprising and emotional character deaths in a game (I actually hated the character anyway, but some of my friends cried).

If you think of it, yeah. The only reason why most considered it revolutionary is because it was the first FF in 3D. And in those days, seeing a classic series make it into 3D without getting itself hurt was a blessing. But to me, it had an awesome, nearly clicheless storyline. Most of the plot twists I didn't expect. However, I liked FFVI's story better... Besides, no matter how "Cool" Sephiroth is, Kefka will always be FF's number one villain.

Awesome, near cliche-less storyline? I guess it WAS the first game where you tried the world from an ultra-powerful, not quite human bad guy--oh wait. As far as Cloud went, though he didn't follow it, he did kind of start the quite annoying "reluctant hero" character. I will give props to FF VII on another point that I didn't mention--nearly all of the characters were very well done--with the exception of perhaps Yuffie. Wench took my materia!
