Well now, I got SOME Christmas money early, and eventually I want to go to the store to buy meself a game or two. See, I got REEEAL bored and decided to make a list of games I felt I wanted to get. So, if you feel like to want to help me out, be my guest And also, I know what you're thinking: "WTF YOU FOUND PSO?!!11" Actually yes, I did. I found it in four out of five stores in my area too, each selling for 30 bucks. And finally, I chose WW, 1080 and PoP, because 1080's selling new for 9.99 in my area. Suprising, eh? I know. So, whatcha think meesa should get? P.S. MP2:E was excluded cause I don't have the first yet <_< I will though

I'd go with the Wario World, 1080, Prince of Persia combo. All three of those games are a lot of fun and you get the most bang for your buck by getting the three of them.

I went with Tales because you shouldn't bother with the other two games attached with Prince of Persia.

heres the order i would put them in from best to worst:
1. tales of symphonia (long, good, and... cool) 2. mario power tennis (awesomely awesome, best as a party game) 3. 1080 avalanche (not bad), wario world (seems pretty good), PoP (whatever that is) 5. alien hominid (i heard it was hard, but fun) 6. phatasty star online stuff (isnt that a card game now?) 7. kirby's air ride (nnnooooo)
there ya go! so i would recomend tales of symphonia, if you like RPGs

And maybe I'll skip KAR (lol, KAR XD) for some other game.

Hmmmm...I would have to say I would go with pso if you can find the original version, which is next to impossible to find now. It is great if you like rpgs and are willing to spend some time to strengthen your character, 3 job classes with 4 subclasses each which manage to work together extremely well, four difficulty modes, and if you ever get enough to play it online it just never gets old (provided you stay off of vega, that place be hacker city) There is no story, but the replay value kinda makes up for it, think of it as a fun hack and slash with a lot to do only you can't just go in and button mash, unless you want to get killed.
Now reguarding ToS, a lot of people may hate me for saying this but I really did not like it too much. It was fun but for some reason the story did seem a bit cliche and the dialogue was.....kinda half baked. Now, I respect anyone's oppinion for thinking it was a good game 100% but I just didn't enjoy it myself.

Yeah, one of my friends was really into PSO at one point. I liked it, but not a whole lot. I found the combat to be a little too simplistic. Also, welcome to the RN Forums, Jehuty.

Am I the only one who like KAR? I played a demo of KAR and I thought it was a little weird... The whole control scheme seemed a little pointless to me.

The game, even though it's much slower than F-Zero GX, it seems way too fast and you end up hitting a wall and losing 1st Place, then 2nd, then 3rd, and you stay in last FOREVER, it's SO ANNOYING!

Thank you, and yes, you sorta have to get into it. The combat IS a bit simplistic but not nearly as much if you play as a force, requiring quite a bit of strategy and trial and error in finding enemy weaknesses and resistances to techniques. Really, you start liking it around the alst area on normal mode and just get addicted to it by the time you reach hard mode, because hard mode introduces the concept of finding rare weapons, leveling up faster, etc. Also, I do enjoy KAR, but only city trial in multiplayer, so for me it is only worth it if you have a few friends over often who are willing to play it. My friends and I enjoy stealing each other's air machines and putting them in our "bases" around the city, that we have to guard to make sure the others don't steal it back. It is very fun, but only for city trial, I don't like the rest too much.
