I think it should just stay the same. And as GrenCloud8 said I don't think Halo should have an "M" rating. Maybe a "T" because there is no swares. It's just violence. I think people these days do not know how to rate. But for the new ratings, no why have more than a person can handle. Language isnt the deciding factorfor a "M" rated games. it's the game as a whole. The guns, shooting, and the alien blood did it for Halo. The M rating is warrented. I can't imagine having a 12 or 15 year old come in and buying it by himself. Remember no one checks for T rated games, so in some stores you will have kids 10 and under buying it.

Even if GTA were rated AO, it would still sell millions. Most parents really don't care what video games their kids are playing, as I have witnessed on multiple occasions when employees of game stores try to explain the M rating to them and they shrug it off. Stores like EB and Gamestop wouldn't miss the oppurtunity to sell it, because it would be the biggest hit of the season whether they did or not. Rockstar has GREAT marketing, something Nintendo lacks. When a new GTA game comes out, you know about it both months before and months after the release of the game. GTA is a much too popular franchise to be stopped by an AO rating, people will find a way to get it one way or another.

If we ended up selling an AO game in store they would have to be put in a closed off room like adult magazines. Also most store care about not selling the M rated games to minors simply because if they get caught, they lose their job, and could cost the manager his/her job.
