Mine is by far The Ocarina of Time.It has a great story and has amazing fighting style and strategy.

I would go for Zelda Collectors Disk but thats a collection.
My favourite Zelda game is a tie between Lttp and Oot.

Ok but what about the smiley. He was making a smiley because he didn't put a space between the colon and O in LoZ: OoT I'd have to say OoT is my favorite as well. It was just a fantastic game all around and brought a strictly 2D series to 3D in a magnificent transition. |

All of the games in the Zelda series are great, but I think Ocarina of Time is my favorite. It completely reinvented the franchise.

The best Zelda game I think is Windwaker. I love the animation in it and the story is very unique and I just love it so much. The free-roaming ability is the coolest part.

A Link to the Past is my favorite. It brought a lot of things to the series, like broad slashing. Plus, I prefer 2D Zelda over 3D Zelda, and ALttP is my fav 2D Zelda of all time.

Okay I've played OoT and Majora's Mask on my collector's edition, and I still think WW is the best. I love the cel shaded graphics. It fits Young Link perfectly and it by far has the best story in the series.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite Zelda game so far.
Majora's Mask was pretty good too, but I found the constant going back to Day 1 annoying as everything reset and acted like you hadn't done a thing.
Wind Waker is also a good game. When I first saw it I thought it looked lame but after purchasing it I must say that it is a pretty good installment. The only real downside to it would have to be the sailing across the sea. That gets repetative and boring after a couple of minutes.
