~~ GameInformer May 2005, Issue #145, page 24 ------ Nice. While I've yet to play a Silicon Knights game, I've heard plenty of good things about them.

I have that Issue, and the title is: SEGA GETS SILICON KNIGHTS, meaning that they probably won't develop for Nintendo anymore What makes you think that? Sega makes games for Nintendo systems and they'll probably let Silicon do the same thing. It also states in the article that the game will be multi-platform, which includes Nintendo Revolution.

I have that Issue, and the title is: SEGA GETS SILICON KNIGHTS, meaning that they probably won't develop for Nintendo anymore They meant they signed the team on for one of their projects. They don't own the company, they're just partnering up to make a game. What Silicon Knights' situation in ownership right now, I don't know.

I bet we'll see the majority of Silicon Knights games on Xbox 360 and PS3... I have a feeling Sega isn't going to be a super-big Revolution supporter.

They meant they signed the team on for one of their projects. They don't own the company, they're just partnering up to make a game. What Silicon Knights' situation in ownership right now, I don't know. SK is a third party and own themselves. All your SK are belong to SK. Their games are absolutely awesome, so I'm more than happy to find that they have a partner for a new game. If you tell me they made it, I'll probably buy it just based on my previous experiences with them. Very quality stuff. I bet we'll see the majority of Silicon Knights games on Xbox 360 and PS3... I have a feeling Sega isn't going to be a super-big Revolution supporter. Well, I can't say I care about that. Sega hasn't really done much worth noting this generation. Plus, what does the Xbox 2 have to offer them? The GCN has given them much better sales than the Xbox, especially with strong sales of SA2: Battle. I don't see them abandoning the Revolution when they had a strong installed base on GCN. I wonder if they'll ever make anything that I'll want to buy, though... I just don't see it happening, save things like this SK game that they're only publishing.

I agree for the most part with Absent Elements. SEGA has done well on the Gamecube this generation, and I wouldn't be suprised at all if they were a big supporter of the Revolution. On another note, they have no say in whether SK makes games for other systems or for Revolution just because the two are collaborating on a game.

They've done well in a financial sense, yes, but I can't say that their games interest me except for ports of Dreamcast games, which is sad. I've never been a big Sega fan, though, so I suppose I'm just skeptic. As for SK and other systems, don't expect to see any Nintendo love from them unless this Sega project comes through on the Revolution. SK's philosophy is all about power, and that's the PS3 and Xbox 2's forte, not the Rev.'s.

Yeah, I'm specifically referring to the SK game... Like you said in a later post, SK is all about power. Xbox 360 and PS3 are probably (hopefully not, though) going to more powerful than the Revolution.

Like Cammy said, they don't own the company, they're just working with them. As the publisher, Sega would decide which system a game being published by them would appear on. I'm sure it's already been worked out in writing.
