It'll be a good console, but, I'm not getting it so early... PlayStation 3 is on my mind.
*sigh* One of the major reasons Dreamcast died was the fact it lacked a DVD Player; see, in the late 90s when DVDs came out, Japanese people weren't buying them. But then, suddenly, the sales skyrocketed! Why? PS2 launched around the same time DVD sales were rising. Not only that, but it was the cheapest DVD Player on the market. So, people realized they could play games, music and movies on their PS2, while Dreamcast was stuck with just games and music.
That's not to say Dreamcast wasn't a good console. While I am a SEGA fanboy, Dreamcast was excellent in first party titles; Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure 2, Ecco the Dolphin and Space Channel 5 are all excellent examples of SEGA's efforts to make it look good, and boy, did they!
Anyway, Revolution will be a good platform no doubt. But I'm not the type that enjoys making guesses on what's next everytime we turn a corner.

*cough*fanboy*cough* Not to say anything, but this ISN'T going to happen. Sorry to sound like I'm flaming, but Sony and Microsoft are leading in today's industry, with Nintendo in third. As much as I love Nintendo, if anyone goes down the path of SEGA, it's going to be Nintendo. Just my thoughts. I don't consider Microsoft in the lead. Yes, they have sold more, but take a loss on every system sold. I just cant think of a company leading that is lossing so much money. |

there's alot of hate on the street for nintendo im afraid. if nintendo has any way of getting people back to the good old nintendo days its gonna have to be revolution...if revolution isnt as awesome as it sounds...well...i just dont know...

there's alot of hate on the street for nintendo im afraid. if nintendo has any way of getting people back to the good old nintendo days its gonna have to be revolution...if revolution isnt as awesome as it sounds...well...i just dont know... COME ON NINTENDO, YOU CAN KICK PS3 and XBOX360's A** ANY DAY!!! You'd be surprised at how most of those are actually just rather fanboyish theories. Maybe I have gone to the wrong places, but I haven't seen fans of other consoles trash Nintendo for a while.. and sadly, it is usually the other way around. |

Its games are still fun and most gamers that are concerned with "cool" factor will admit it, but mainstream gamers deem Nintendo as kiddy... even though they love Mario Kart. :I Also, welcome to the RN Forums, 2quik2silver.  |

And I really don't care what hate people have over Nintendo(even though, I take those hate comments like a man). All that matters is that Nintendo has to do what they have to do to survive and succeed the current and next generation with no flaws. No matter what happens. And I even wish their competitors luck to do their best, as well. |
