Notice how Sonic seems to have the most entries here? So far, he's only had three "we don't suck" spinoffs--namely Sonic & Knuckles, Knuckles Chaotix, and Shadow the Hedgehog (The most underrated Sonic-related game yet). I couldn't put Tingle or Peach here since I haven't played them yet to make a fair enough judgment. Vote at will.

My vote goes to Tails Patrol. I've heard horrible things about it.

I only voted against Tails Patrol, not just because the game sucked, but because I really, really, REALLY hate Tails. If I were voting primarily based on bad gameplay, my vote would have gone to Street Fighter 2010. I can remember it being touted and advertised as "The hardest NES game ever", but they didn't advertise that it was difficult because of: *slippery controls *broken level design *unfairly designed enemies (due to slippery controls, you can barely avoid them) That's not the end of it. The music here isn't what you'd expect from an NES game. If you're thinking Castlevania or Mega Man-style music, get out of here. The music is crap. What's most embarrassing is that the story makes the Street Fighter movie (American, not Anime) seem like an intelligently written and fantastically designed classic. So, uh, Ken decides to quit martial arts to become a scientist... which completely contradicts his character... makes a world-curing medicine... As if he of all people could... and the medicine is stolen and used to revive a long-dead planet and its hostile lifeforms, which isn't even considered in any other Street Fighter game. And by the way, this game has no fighter-game influence. It's a platformer, which insults SF fans most of all.

Mean Bean Machine is quite the good game. My vote goes to Pokemon Dash, even though the series was already stained in my mind.

As far as Mean Bean Machine goes, it's another puzzler that ekes out a pathetic existence in an already crowded field, much like most FPSs. Better games in that genre exist, like Tetris, Dr. Mario, and Puyo Pop--and in comparison to those classics, MBM is crap.

Okay, tibrix, there's a reason I didn't put those there: Everybody would vote for them. My poll would end up too one-sided. I hate that. Almost as much as those games.

If those games were included in the poll, they would have definitely been my #1 choice.

I have one of them. Brothers, an infidel is in our midst! BURN THE WITCH!! It's called being a collector and wanting all the Zelda games. Besides, I have a spell that protects me from fire.

I, for one, think it would be cool to own the crappy games as well. For collector's purposes only, of course *hides cd-i* Really though, if I had a cd-i i would totally own these games. As far as the question itself, I can't fairly vote for any of these because I have never played any of them except chocobo racing, which definately did NOT suck. Unoriginal, perhaps, but far from bad.

Well, that's a bit of a problem, lol.

Pssh, I wouldn't have even gotten the CD-i if it were for collector's purposes. I only collect FUN games. What's the point in collecting something you don't like? Oh, yeah. Money. Duh.
