ummmm....that's your opinion. i still think that ff:sw is a cool movie, and final fantasy is a wierd title to begin with. and the futuristicness of it was also cool. i loved it because i could understand what the point was.

Final Fantasy is only called that because of Square's past.
Square was basically bankrupt, and they only had enough money to make one last game. This was in the NES days. They wanted to make an RPG game of some sort, so they decided on a fantasy themed one. They called the game Final Fantasy due to it being their final game, or so they thought.
It became one of the best selling games at the time. And they stuck to the name for the whole franchise because of the popularity. And it's now the most popular RPG series of all time.

Agreed: Spirits Within was awful. I once wrote a script for a parody of it: "Final Pharmacy: The Doctor is In." It was just... really... really... stupid. Worse than the actual film.  Anyway, as far as non-Nintendo games at E3 go, I haven't heard of very many, but that's because I don't have cable... I'll make a list shortly after what I find. |

And it's now the most popular RPG series of all time. i knew that already. i watched something on G4tv on that, and i dont really care if you think the movie sucked ass, because everyone has different tastes and i liked it. |
