With Advent Children having been translated and released on DVD, AC the Movie will likely be translated as well. It'll probably be something like My Neighbor Totoro. It's going to be another good game-based movie! Finally, an age where the crappy game-based films won't suck so bad.

I have mixed feelings... I don't really know how they can make a movie out of Animal Crossing... I hope that Hayao Miyazaki makes it ^_^

I actually had this idea of a short animation cartoon of Animal Crossing, and how the fish were plotting to take over the town. The main character (Who doesn't talk) was fishing, thinks he catches a big one, tries to reel it in, and he pulls out a tire. The tire whizzes through the air and slams the guy in the face, knocking him out cold. That was one out of twelve scenes. Maybe I'll put it into comic format sometimes soon...

Animal Crossing has no plot, so how exactly will the movie work? Movies need plots... Because of this, my vote goes to "It's going to suck." I'm sure there's a slim chance that it will be good, but how do you turn a plotless game into a great movie?

Sophistication has eluded Jason. I weep, but only on the inside. I don't weep for what people think. I only liked ND the first time I saw it then after that I didn't like it. I like sophisticated movies, but sometimes a stupid movie that requires no thinking is good. |
