Well, last night was exhilerating. For one, my memory card erased itself. AGAIN. I was lucky to have beaten all those games, but now I have to start Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, Wario World, and Resident Evil 0 all over again (I didn't beat those games yet). Symphonia is over 80 hours long... Grrr. So I'm gonna go out when I get my next paycheck and buy myself another memory card and keep backup saves on it. But still... All those hours of my life... gone in just one night. Then, after I started a new file in Sonic Mega Collection, I did something I never expected I'd do... I beat the very first Sonic game. And I got all the Chaos Emeralds to boot! I know that might not be very much to some people out there, but I feel like I've accomplished a lot. Games made back when the NES, Super Nintendo, and Genesis were out... Those games were freaking HARD. I hope the Wii doesn't use memory cards... They're such a hassle.

It'll have a hard drive and I'm pretty sure you can expand memory with sd/flash cards and USB mass storage devices.

Sucks your memory card died. I beat Sonic, but I never beat Sonic II. Always got killed at the second stage of the chemical plant.

Was the memory card an official Nintendo one or third party? It sucks either way though

Was the memory card an official Nintendo one or third party? It sucks either way though Nintendo. Third-party brand sucks harder. But Pelican Software DOES make good PSone memory cards; mine hasn't erased itself ever. But yeah, either way it sucks. I'm already opening up files of all the games I want to play again, and the ones I want to beat. So far, I've got Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Mega Collection, and Metal Gear Solid. MGS is still a fun and addictive game, remake or not. Hey, Gray, did you get all the Chaos Emeralds?

Yeah, I usually go with the same brand as the console when getting mem. cards, but the only time the mem. cards of the same brand name sucked and I got the 3rd party brand is when I got my PSP, cause the sony cards sucked (too slow, costed way more then sandisk brands, and had too many issues with working right)

I can't remember, but is the Wii going to have an internal hardrive or an external one that should eventually come out for downloading games? I find that I had less hassle with saves and such on the Xbox that the Gamecube and PS2 with their memory cards. No corruption. My Nintendo card has yet to be corrupted, but when I was low on cash and couldn't wait for a Nintendo card, I got a 3rd party that crapped out. My Nyko PS1 card is good, but the PS2 cards I don't have full trust of when my memory was wiped the game still showed even though it was cleared.
