Hey, everybody! It's August! Which would actually mark my first whole year being here! You know what time it is? UGAM.
Underrated
Games

All right, me first:
The 3D Castlevanias. All of em. Underrated. I remember how people often complained about there being too many monster-filled hallways in the PS2 ones--which is a great contradiction, since even Symphony of the Night had more monster-filled hallways than the PS2 games. And the N64 Vanias were more like the NES Castlevanias, except in 3D. The first N64 Vania's development team was given only 9 months to produce the whole thing, so they did their best with what little time they had. Of course, Castlevania fans were spoiled with Symphony of the Night, so they depreciated the hell out of that game. Then, almost a year later, Konami released the entirety of what the N64 game was supposed to be. But by then, the Dreamcast was already out, and people really weren't ready for a "remake" of a game they didn't like. So Legacy of Darkness was neglected, forever a missing jewel in the Nintendo 64's crown of precious stones.
OK now: state the game you think was most underrated, either by the press or by the public (Or in some cases, both). Then pop open some champaigne (Or in my case, soda) and celebrate the fact that overlooked games can still be loved.
