If you are or want to overclock your graphics card, then thats great, it means that you want to or do have a certain amount of computer hardware skills. But their are some precautions to OC'ing hardware. 1-recheck that you have atleast 2 case fans (not including CPU fans or PSU fans) 2-make sure that your cables (like IDE and PSU cables) are out of the way (it increases air flow in the case) 3-if you are new to OC'ing, dont go crazy and put your card to the limit, it can set it on fire, damage your adapter bus, or damage anything else 4-remember that if you do damage your card or other hardware, you are responisble for the damage, not the hardware vendor. and that is all you really need to know about being safe when OC'ing. If you have doubts about OC'ing, download a benchmark, like 3DMark 03 (which I have). here is the areas where you can download the software neccesary for OC'ing. www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Video-Tweak/Coolbits-3D.shtmlwww.techspot.com/download298.htmlwww.laptopvideo2go.com/nvtweak/(please note that these OC'ing utilities are only for Nvidia GPU's)
