What website could I purchse a Dance Dance Revolutoion arcade machine from? I won't purchase one now, but I have to know how much of my money I have to save up and budget for one. Whoever gives me a link will be my new bestest-estes friend.

Err, why not get a copy of DDR for the PS2 or the Xbox? Oh, wait, that's right, you don't own any of them anymore, do you? Right. Well then, in that case, forget your college funds: those suckers cost more than $1000 no matter where you're going to purchase one from. It'd have been cheaper to just keep your Xbox and pick up a copy of the game plus a DDR Dancepad.

My bro has an Xbox, and he also has a PS2. I hate the home versions. I have Mario DDR. I can't stand the slipping mats, and plus I really ahs a dislike for the music and backgrounds used in the home versions. They just aren't the arcade experience. Plus my father finally came out and said that he is going to fund me $15k per college year (4 years). I am going to get a job soon, plus me and Ruben and Alex are applying for Full Sail, so we will probably end up splitting up the cost and getting a DDR arcade machine for a room. XD bye bye bed...

what you can do, is get the ps2 or xbox version, and get the metal dancepad (they sell the dancepads *same ones that they use for the arcades, but not connected, and can be configured to work with the consoles*)

I hate the home version games though, and if I'm going to be paying that kind of money, I'd still want the arcade machine.

Do what ever you want, its your money, im just saying, you will be paying a hell of a lot of money for something that isnt that much more different then the console version (but you will look hella cool owning one though), also, you will have a hell of a time finding a place to have the arcade to be placed, because those machines are massive!
btw, those suckers are at least $5000.

I know they aren't cheap, but i have seen some for about $3000, whether they were the ral deal or not, I dunno. Someone gave me links to some on ebay. Found 1 auction with 4 bids at $550-$600.
I know they are big, but thats my problem... who needs... a TV and all that stuff in my room when I have DDR? Actually my room is pretty big, I just need to readjust my furniture.
I want to start a DDR team for team competitions. No freestyle though, I don't like dance routines.

Anyway. You know you can get the right mixes of DDR on PS2/Xbox, right? The arcade ones? Same music/steps. Also, unless you're going to slip, a metal one would be your best bet.
Also, have you heard of StepMania? Can be dowloaded online (free), or the CD can be purchased online. DDR music and steps. Can be played via keypad or dance mat. Just Google Stepmania.

Well, yeah, that's what I said... I mean, I've seen the arcade version of DDR on Dreamcast as well as PS2 and Xbox (Plus the metal dancepad, which probably weighs a mighty ton).
