Here is the Dance Dance Revolution thread that nobody asked for. It's an official unofficial thread for Dance Dance Revolution only talk. Discuss anything here.

I'm a Dance Dance Revolution fanatic. Once I figured out how to "really" play, I got addicted to it. I lay the blame on my friends. Even after the song is over and the score is up, the arrows still shoot up in my mind if I cloe my eyes. Tetris never even haunted me like that...

List what your current level off difficulty is, your top 3 songs (/game), and what you prefer to warm-up with.

I am currently on Light... which is pathetic... Light is the easiest mode in the Japanese games... -_-;

My Top 3:
- "Captain Jack" (DDR Extreme)
- "Butterfly" (DDR Extreme)
- "Cartoon Heros" (DDR Extreme)

My preferable warm-up is "Pink Rose" on beginner difficulty. It's like coffee is to mindless zombie worker as pink rose is to Gray...

I spent an assload of money on the arcade machine over the summer.
You can find Extreme 2 for the PS2 for $60 with the slip pad.

I borrowed Extreme 2 from my Mexican buddy, and I'm playing it on Light. My favorite songs are Butterfly and Play That Funky Music.

well i'm on standerd and i also play DDR: mario mix on super hard. my fav. songs on DDR Extreme is

3.speed over beethovon

I play in the arcade XD The way it should be done!

I play on light (second difficulty) or standard (third difficulty). My general DDR buddy is my friend Bex... she pawnz me on light, I pawnz her on standard. Which means I'll suck at heavy. But RULE at challenge! Psh, whatever. I'll never make it that far!

1. Crash!
2. Cartoon Heroes
3. Rhythm and Police

Best warm-up is probably Cartoon Heroes, me and Bex practically know it off by heart >< Call us junkies. Speed Over Beethoven isn't bad for a warm-up, as long as it's light or standard.

Can't stand I Do I Do I Do, though. It's too slow ><

I like to classify myself as a mediocre player.

Once me and my DDRbuddy (Bex XD) were at the arcade watching a young girl play. Unfortunately she either didn't know, or wasn't co-ordinated enough, to watch the screen and hit the dance pads.

They light up when you stamp on them, right?

She thought when they lit up you were supposed to stamp on them.

She developed a pattern after a while.

It was pretty funny. But we felt sorry for her.

I cannot say that i am the best at the game, cause i have not played the game more then 3 times.
