the ff bit sounds cool, but the disney bit sounds troublesome. Actually, the Disney bit is what really gives it flavor. KH only has the Final Fantasy characters, mood, and some of the gameplay. The rest is pure Disney gold.

Yeah, if it was all FF-ish, then it woulda just been a FF game with a bit of action. But KH is FF with a bit of action + tons and tons of Disney.

I have a story of what I think could happen. It may not happen, but it's just for enjoyment. I could post what I have here.

This is what I have so far:
Three knights, colored black, gold, and pink, walked onto a dry field of dust drenched in hot sun. The scene of the latest battle. The bodies had been swallowed by the darkness. Hundreds of keyblades were scattered about them. They looked around. They had lost their own blades, so they picked up three blades that they had recognized. They were the Oathkeeper, Oblivion, and Way To The Dawn. It had not always been like this.
There used to be many worlds different then the ones you already know like deep jungle and olypus coliseum. There used to be many rural worlds as well. Each of these worlds would have a naturally born warrior that was a class above the rest of the protectors. This would happen as soon as the last one died. These were called the "Chosen" for there was only one per generation. And every one of the Chosen, without fail, would get a special blade shaped like a key. So the world would call it a "Keyblade". The blades always looked different. The chosen trained day and night to be able to defend the world from mysterious black invaders that arose from the darkness. And the worlds were not connected, so the people did not know of any world but their own.
On one world, there was a great sage that dabbled in the workings of light and dark, hoping to find the source of these black creatures. He would ultimately destroy minor worlds. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start at the begining, with a boy named Siront. He was the chosen for the world of Anoln. He was very dedicated in his training. A very fit young boy at the age of 13. He was about 5'7" and had a slightly above medium build. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. His keyblade was a gold bladed one that looked very weak, but was the most powerful one the world had seen.
"Siront, time for dinner." Siront's mom called from the front door. "Hold on, mom. I'm trying to perfect this technique I've been working on." With that, he leaped into the sky, pulling off a backflip, then he jumped a second time. He proceeded in "flying" towards the dummy. He then slashed off the dummie's head. Then, he ran around the dummy, sliceing at random intervals, before stabbing it. The dummy fell apart and his mom clapped. He went inside for dinner. Even though he was the chosen, it didn't mean that his family was rich. It was chicken and dumplings for the fourth night in a row.
He complained about it for a few minutes, but he was starving, and just gobbled up most of it. It was only him and his mom. His dad was lost long ago when he was 3. They never found out what happened to him. He went upstairs and stared at the sky. All of a sudden, the sky turned unusually black. It was still dusk. He left for the sages house.
He busted open the door to see a small black creature standing on top of the sage. It then had it's hand go inside the sage. "Siront, quickly, kill this thing...before it..." But he never finished. The black thing then collected it's prize, the sage's heart. It sensed Siront's strong heart and tried to get it. It failed. Siront masterfully disposed of it as it dissolved into darkness. He ran to the sage. He was dead. Then, he looked to the left to see a hole, and through that, he saw a brilliant light.
What Siront saw through the hole was something he never thought existed. He saw soemthing he had only heard about in stories. He saw the heart of the world. After he saw that, he saw the same little things that he had just disposed of. Then his blade acted oddly. It unleashed a beam that rivaled the brightness of the hole. After the beam made contact with the hole, there was a clicking sound, and then the light vanished behind the wall.
He went outside to see that the blackness hadn't lifted. Then something landed. A giant thing of black. He looked at the eternally yellow eyes. It slammed the ground, but Siront jumped over the shockwave and landed on it's arm. He ran up to the head and started his special combo he had been practicing. He double jumped into the air, flew at it's head, landed, then proceeded running around it's head, slashing. The thing yowled in pain. It also dissolved into dark mist. Then, it all went black.
Siront awoke in a field. Everything had a glow to it. There were two other people there with him. He walked to them. He had never seen them in his life.
One was a boy, but slightly older. He guessed about 15. He was about 6'. He had short silver hair, Red eyes, Medium build, and some strange clothes that he had never seen. He had a white top on with a circle on it, blue pants that looked tough to move in, and black shoes with red bottoms. He had gloves that had the fingers missing.
The other one was a girl. She had long flowing fire red hair. Her eyes matched her hair. Her build was small, which he wasn't surprised, but she was his age. She was around 5'9". She had a yellow shirt with the sleeves missing. Her skirt was shorter that ones he had seen. And her shoes were pink boots. They BOTH had keyblades.
After he had just assesed the situation, he passed out again.
Siront awoke in a pub that he didn't recognize from his home. He looked around. He was in a room with gren walls, a white ceiling, tan carpet. He was on a bed in the center of the room. He got up and notice that he was in different clothes. He went to the dresser and picked out his old clothes and put them on.
He went downstairs and found his blade on the counter. "I believe this is yours." He looked at the clerk. He recognized her. She was the girl from his dream. "Thanks." He took the blade from the table. In other circumstances, the blade teleported to him when he was away from it. "Do you have one of these?" He asked the girl. "No, I'm sorry. It lookes like a nice sword." He walked out. The girl pulled out something as he was leaving.
She pulled out a keyblade. It had a white hadle that resembled two angel wings. The blade was very intricate. It was black and had a strange design that looked like the oblivion blade that she had read about in the library down the street.
Siront walked down the streets. The buildings were so tall. He had never seen anything like this. He went into a building labeled "Library". The librarian came to him. "Oh, so you are a keyblade holder also." "There is one here?" "Yes, the girl at the inn. Her name is Konar." Siront stood in shock. She said that she didn't have one. "Are you looking for books on keyblades also?" "I guess so." "Here, this way."
She brought him to an aisle with keyblade books everywhere he looked. "There are books on pasts chosen along with their keyblades. I'll let you look for a while." Siront wondered how they could find these places so easily. But he soon didn't care, for he found a book labled "Keyblades: Past Shapes". He took the book from the shelf, sat down at the nearest table, and read.
Siront was amazed. There was only one chosen at his home, but there were countless here, not to mention Konar down the street. He read. There were some very strange ones. One was labled "Light Keyblade" that looked like a rainbow. He soon put the book back and left to find the inn.
When he arrived at the in, he went back to the girl. "Are you sure you don't have one of these?" Siront probed Konar. "Y-yes, I'm sure." "Because the librarian down the street certainly disaggrees with you." "You know...she never could keep her mouth shut." She pulled out her own keyblade. "Wanna spar?" "Sure."
They arrived at the arena, and it was a spar for the ages.
After the fight, they went to the pub. The cityfolk were surprised to see two keybladers together. They arrived at the pub. "Want something, Siront?" "Hmm...how about some water." "Ok..." She realized he must not have went to the pub much at his town. She got herself a shirley temple and handed the water to Siront. "Thanks. What is the name of this city?" "This is Radiant Garden."
"This is a garden? I had a garden at home...it was a lot more, how is it, green." Siront said. Konar laughed. "This place is called Radiant Garden not for and green, but for the shimmer in the sky. Did you not notice it when you came?" "No...I didn't. Let's go see." He got up from the table and went outside. He was surprised at the number of lights in the sky during the day.
"Pretty, isn't it? I would go to the park on my break and stare at them for the longest time." She said in a very dreamy voice. "Do you know what causes them?" "I for one am not sure. But I don't need to know what causes it to admire it." Then, a black creature fell from the sky. "NO! NOT ANOTHER ONE!" Siront drew his keyblade and swung at the small creature. "Well...looks like that shadow wasn't alone." Siront was confused, but looked behind him. There was a whole army of shadows there. Looks like a Battle of 1000.
