I was going to get the Xbox360 verison, but alas, FF XII seemed so much superior to it, and it wasn't in stock either. XD

I have never played a Phantasy Star game, ever. I really would like to, though, but it's more than a challenge just to find a copy of Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube. Not that I'd actually be able to play it, since my Cube is dead.

I heard that Internet play for first-party software on the Wii will be free.

I heard that Internet play for first-party software on the Wii will be free. That is because they own all of that themselves. Now if a 3rd party person wants to do it for free, they can, if not, then you pay. Especially if it's an MMO, which I don't know how they can pull that off.

Then in that case, Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers (Which is said to have online play) will likely charge you a fee. Rats.

That's not what I meant. Most likely it will be free however.
