oh yeah lol guess if i thinked about it it would make sense u get ur ass kicked from any boss's yet Not me! ...Because I've only played throug ha few hours. :/ I think the last time I played it, I took down the first of those wiggy magic-knight dudes. It was a slaughter... Balthier was the last guy left alive at 14 HP, while everybody else was dead a few minutes into the fight (And they were at full health and had their AI set to Heal at 50%). I just fired a few last shots into the boss' brain and ended the fight. *whew!* |

I haven't had my "ass kicked" as such yet, but I have lost a couple of very close boss battles. Yesterday I defeated/obtained Mateus. I lost to him once because I stuffed up my Quickening combo so I was a sitting duck without any MP. But the next time I slaughtered him by the same tactic, This time sucessful.
I guess the other battles I lost was more of a slaughter. The Elder Wyrm used it's pollen thing and I was stupid enough to have everyone stand right in front of him, and while I was trying to heal everyone they got killed, and after switching out my party members and trying to revive the dead ones they were all killed.
But the next time I slaughtered him.
