They had "Last Child" in GHII, but I pine for "Living on the Edge". "Amazing" is probably my favorite AS song, but it won't do for GUITAR Hero. "Eat the Rich" or "Crazy" would be good for me. I dunno; a song that talks about actual cannibalism is probably something ActiVision won't do.

www.randomnintendo.com/?id=2548Well, looks like I got a few of my wishes. (That is, Miss Murder and Welcome to the Jungle. And more ZZ Top? Hells. Friggin. YEAH.)

Forget AFI - Dragonforce and Muse are gonna be the real challenges.

I am tired of Led Zeppelin, Guns n' Roses, and AC/DC. Good classics, but overrated.

I agree, I think more new songs should be in there. Old songs are great, but there's lots of good indie and punkish stuff out there that I'd love to play officially.

Based on what Activision is saying, it seems like there will be a good mix of new and old songs. They're trying to make the track list as varied as possible... Of course, only time will tell if they actually succeed at doing this.

Bah, newer bands just don't have what the classics had. As much as I like AFi or Evanescence, I'd take ACDC over them both.

Here is a soundtrack listing. I think I might actually get this game for the X360. The songs in bold are the ones I am really looking foward to playing.

Wait, Beastie Boys? Wow, I don't think I've heard more than one song of theirs that actually used a guitar of any kind.
But yeah, um.. I can hope that they'll vary it. They seem to have run out of the best of the old stuff, but I'll go crazy if they actually put stuff from bands like hellogoodbye or Paramore or Modest Mouse or something like that. Modest Mouse, that *might* be possible since they have a platinum album and they're big with college kids, but the other two? Not a chance in hell, and it makes me kinda sad. ;_;
I think they should put that song in those Kohl's commercials in it. 'Cause that'd be ~*awesome.
They should put some Beck songs in there though! Or maybe some acoustic songs, like Missed the Boat or something like that.

The Beastie Boys actually use a lot of guitar more than one would think. They use musical instruments unlike a lot of rap groups.

Eh, I'm not really looking forward to any of the announced songs. I know a lot of them are going to be really fun to play, but nothing has struck me as "wow, that's awesome, I really want to play it." I'm sure I'll end up as addicted as I currently am to GHII. Then you add in Rock Band... ugh. I'll never put the plastic guitar down again.

How about some country music lol. I doubt we'll see that, lol. Rock fans tend to not like country music and visa versa.
