I only have a DS but not a lite. I can not be spending money on game systems anymore becasue the school year just started. I doubt I am ever going to buy the DSlite. I'm sticking with my DS and the Wii.

Not interested. I spent $150 on a Nintendo DS on launch day. I don't need a DS Lite when I need to buy a Wii, PS3 and 360 - and already have a DS.

I'm saving up for the Wii, so no. Plus I already own a DS. Unless games that require more than one DS to play a special feature (such as trading Pokemon etc, although that hasn't been confirmed yet as far as I know), I won't buy one.

I have a regular DS, because I think that because I have a perfectly working DS, why waste the money.

Waiting until 2007 when the time I spent using my current DS is the same as when I used my old GBA and then the SP came out.

I have a DS Lite, and I have it simply because it was my first handheld console and I didn't already own a DS, so I just decided to get the smaller version. I myself am perfectly happy with it.

Well there's nothing wrong with having one.
BTW, welcome to the RN Forums Sheka.

Yep. I bought an original DS on launch day, and have got so much playtime out of it that I decided buying a Lite would be justified. The DS is the system I play the most, so I just figured that I should have the best version of it available : ). Though the small GBA slot does suck, I have a Micro for that so no worries.

I HAD a DS Lite... but the mic was dead, so I turned it in to Nintendo for a new one WITH a working mic. I'm still waiting for it to arrive as of this writing.

I have a DS Lite and love it. The screens alone are amazing.
