No way. Rock has Guns n' Roses. Rock has Black Sabbath. Rock has Eddie Van Halen. Rock has KISS, ZZ Top, ACDC, and even the entire Guilty Gear soundtrack.
Rap just has white guys pretending to be black, and black people pretending that they live in ghettos and slums when they actually live in penthouse suites.
By the way, there's also a rock group called The Black Mages. They have turned all of the Final Fantasy songs into some the most awesome rock ever. What's more: the guy who originally did the music (Nobuo Uematsu) also played keyboard for them.

Oh, poo; the cat's out of the bag. Indeedy-do, missy. Rock is sort of a passion to me. Surprisingly enough, I am easily intimidated by musical instruments and thusly have no musical talent. I do, however, enjoy me some mighty fine headbangin' to classic rock as well as heavy metal. Scream rock and grunge are out of the question, though. Oh, if ya haven't already, I may want to ask you to get Guilty Gear XX for your PS2. Not only does it have some of the best damn rock ever, it's also one of the greatest 2D Fighter games ever frikkin made. |
