Go to John's DevArt profile and scavenge around his gallery and eventually you'll find his drawings of some of the RN members (older ones, though I assume he'll draw pics of you and other new members soon). You can kinda see what each character looks like in them.

To take a break from all that writing, I think I'll name off some of the game references I've thrown into the story, starting with some of the most obvious.

• All the airships featured are named after songs from Dance Dance Revolution. (Captain Jack, Dynamite Rave, Daikenkia, etc.)
  
• The mythological gods are named after Final Fantasy summons.
  
• The punks who John fights onboard the luxury train are called the Hammer Brothers after the Mario villains of the same name.
  
• The name of the President, "Baker", is reference to the arms company president from Metal Gear Solid, who also goes by the name "Baker."
  
• The names of the seven provinces of the UFP (United Federal Provinces): Oasis (Southern states-area), Arrakis (Western states-area), Hyrule (the Middle sates-area), Fourside (Northeastern states-area), Alastor (Southeastern states-area), Corneria (Northwestern states-area), and Spira (Northern staes-area). The only province not affiliated with games is Oasis. The rest come from Dune (Which is a book, by the way), Legend of Zelda, Earthbound, Devil May Cry, Starfox, and Final Fantasy, respecitively.
  
• Gray's hometown is named "Figaro" after a town from Final Fantasy VI. It is located in the Alastor province.
  
• Midgar, where Chris's parents were going to send him, is a city from Final Fantasy VI. It's a foreign country here in this story.
  
• Marin City, where John is from, is named after the girl who accompanies Link in Link's Awakening for Gameboy. It is located in the Fourside province.
  
• Wealthy, eccentric, and totally irresponsible multibillionaire Alexey Pajitnov is named after the man who created Tetris.
  
• New Jackson, Highwind, and Ashburg are also located in the Fourside province.
  

I'll probably try to post a map of UFP later, just so everyone knows where everything is. I'll be naming more gaming-related things I've put in as they appear.

John, Dan, Gray, Smith, Christopher, Ruben, Jugalette, Richard, Captain Jim, Panique, Symphonic, Flame Master, Leverish, George, and Kaze Youkai.

And here's the pic that shows what (a few of) the RN guys are supposed to look like. Of course, I've updated the "Mephisto," but everyone else pretty much looks the same now.
