Well, those of you that go there should know about the polls that are on the front page. Well, yesterday Worms 3D happened to be the "how do you rate...?" poll. Well, they gave it ONE STAR. See, the main problem is that there are a ton of fanboys who said "Hey, that's not first party game or exclusive, so it sucks." I think the rest of the people went off IGN and GameSpot's usual "let's make people not buy a good game by pointing out all the bad in it" reviews. I know good and well that at least 3/5 of the users who vote in these polls have never actually played the games, and a good game now has to get it's name tarnished by a bunch of misinformed people. Now, I'm not saying this is an awesome 5-star spectacular game, but look at some other games. Games like Pokemon Colluseum get 5 stars, becasue people assume it's great because Nintendo made it. I haven't played that game, so I don't know. That's why I didn't vote, and why all those people shouldn't go around bashing Worms 3D. So, to make this thread relevant, have any of you people played Worms 3D?

I havent either. I voted 3.0 stars because i think it looks pretty good. It looks ok. I really support your point Hero of Time. At Gamespot, they call Gamecube fan boys sheep because sheep listen to their master like we listen to Nintendo. Get it? I really think people should respect other games, even if Nintendo didnt make it. There are plenty of other games out there

There are plenty of other games out there I think EaterofDogs said it best on NSider when he said: "All the fanboys demand third party support, but when a game comes out that isn't first or second party or isn't exclusive, they say 'Eww... that game wasn't made by Nintendo. I'm not getting that' and therefore hurt the GCN's third party support." I think I did a little paraphrasing, but you get the point.

And i love 3rd party games.

The SSX games are the two funnest games I have for my GCN, and I've dumped hours into getting all the gold medals and such, and it's all because of how fun it is. I've watched several games I've been interested lose support, like The Suffering, Burnout 3, and some others.

I haven't played Worms 3D, but I think that people should only vote for a game if they have played it.

I haven't played Worms 3D, but I think that people should only vote for a game if they have played it. This one guy on the GCN board was making me really mad. He completely generalized M rated games and Worms in two days. He gave Worms a bad score due to some reviews he read, and bashed M rated games because he played Dead to Rights and hated it, so is against all M games. People like that make me so mad, and NSider is full of them.

Yeah, I don't like people like that... They can't base their opinion off of one game. I saw another person who gave it one star becasue he kept seeing ads for it and that was his revenge on it, or something like that. These people were basing it off some cruddy reviews when they don't know how fun the game can be. Well, I guess I'm done ranting now.

How can you have an opinion about a game based on an ad?

That's just stupid... How can you have an opinion about a game based on an ad? I agree, no matter how bad the ad is, or how many, the game can still be good
