Anyone played it? It's suprisingly addicting. Not as good (story-wise at least) as Soul Caliber 2, but this fighting game came first.

I have the game.. and I LOVE IT! I love using Shina, Bakuryu, and Xion.
I despise Jenny... She's a good fighter.. but.. her clothes, the way she acts... lets just say.. "street person" I won't go into the more inappropriate word for her.. but you probably know what I mean...
I hate using Cronos.. mainly his Penguin form.. and I especially HATE fighting against him while he's in the Penguin form.. to small and fast to try and hit..
I also despise.. Uranus! I can't get her... the stupid cheat/codes thing on Nintendo's site said you have to beat the game 3 times to unlock her (on Nintendo's code database before they revamped the place.. now that particular cheat is gone)... I'VE BEATEN THE GAME MORE THAN THAT!!!!! I have every other unlockable character.. but her.. I'm trying the other way to get her, and that's to beat Survival Mode.. but I've only gotten as far as Lvl. 12...
I want Uranus! OK... that did not sound right... O.o;;

Yeah, I hate fighting against Cronos as a penguin...
My favorite characters are Gado (the lion), The metal mole dude, and the chameleon dude...
And I have yet to get Uranus. I'm going to check gfaqs in a few moments to see what they say...
EDIT: All right, here we go...
Uranus and the Chaos Lab Stage: Beat at least 16 characters in survival mode. The 16th opponent should be Uranus in the chaos lab stage. Defeat her and both will be available.

Gado is cool... but I HATE Buzuzima(spelling?) Which is the chameleon... I can't stand playing as him.. he's also really... weird...
And the metal mole is Kyoryu.. or whatever the spelling is.. I prefer Bakuryu though..

I think the metal makes him look cooler...
I like the chameleon simply because I tend to like the challenge of the unusual characters. When he's a beast, he has some nice long distance attacks...
I can pretty much annihilate anyone with Gado...
Alice (the rabbit) is really annoying to fight against, as is Uriko (the half-beast)...
I also really like characters that are good are ringing people out...

Any of the felines are cool...
I normally like heavy weights, but for some reason I can't do all that good with Stun and the elephant dude...

I hate fighting against Ganesha.. especially when he grabs you, then literally lands on you *MAJOR OUCH*.. and when he does his trunk attacks.. ugh...

Somehow the computer can do that, yet I get annihilated whenever I try to do it...

Somehow the computer can do that, yet I get annihilated whenever I try to do it... I'll stick with Gado... I can pull off those beast combo moves easily.. I just keep rotating the control stick constantly while pressing whatever-the-button-was (lol) at the same time. XD Works like a charm... |

I have yet to manage to pull off a combo (the ones where the screen turn blue). The closest I've gotten was the shooting claws on the Iron Mole guy...

I played it at a friend's house. It was pretty fun, but I prefer Soul Calibur II.

Just keep rotating the control stick fast like you would on that paddle race thing on Mario Party, and keep pressing the one button at the same time.. and you'll eventually get the ultimate combos going. That's what I always do.. |
