The Metroid story involves: collecting parts to your suit, Space Pirates, and some other twist, like a secondary world.

Well, it took forever, but, I FINALLY GOT THE GAME! w00tness, this is way cool, and I suppose the theory I made on the game before playing it was correct . I hate how you lose the Varia suit at the end of the first level. The Power Suit just can't compare to the Varia Suit! oh well, at least I can still scan endless stuff, which IMO is definitely a cool feature ^_^. I think it's one of the best games I've played in a while, but Viewtiful Joe is my absolute favorite GameCube game from launch to now Congrats on getting Prime. It's a really great game and you're right, the scan visor is a pretty cool feature.

Congrats on getting Prime. It's a really great game and you're right, the scan visor is a pretty cool feature. Not to mention those levels are HUUUUUUUUGE! I like how you can explore nearly everywhere. Though, for me, it's easy to get lost X.X But scanning isn't the only feature that's cool; I like going into the Morph Ball and zooming everywhere, but it sucks that it can only drop bombs, and most of the time you're reduced to it to run away. v_v Or so people say.

Yeah, Prime is a really big game. The levels flow together really well, too.

Well, I'm nearly a fourth into the game, and from what I've played (about six or seven hours), it's definitely a perfect example of how a company can and should bring back a franchise after a full generation of no new games to offer. Samus kinda died after the last Metroif on teh Super NES, but Nintendo listened to fans and blew their expectations away with Prime. The visuals are awesome, enviornments aren't something you really ignore, and especially, you kind of feel like you didn't go thru a small piece of a level after you re-explore it with a new gadget to add you your arsenal. Thing is, this isn't the game for people with a not-so colorful vocabulary XP I got confused on Thardus' scan information at first, but after a minute of thinking I finally realized "Hmmm, so I just go into Thermal Mode and blast a specified body part to smithereenes (sp?)? OK, thankies for the tip, In-Game-Scanner with a realistic and helpful twist to it. All I ask is, CAN I FINISH THE DARN THING? I really want to so I can go out and buy Prime 2 Echoes
