Yes, yes, yes, people, Viewtiful Joe 2 has finally arrived - well, almost anyway  . Sequel to the highly innovative and super stylish Viewtiful Joe(released last October) is almost ready for store shelves. The game has just began its Magazine Advertisement campaign and a contest to win a VJ2 Skateboard is currently underway - I think XD. If you may or may not know (while you really should), The game is now Two-Players; it involves you and your girlfriend from the previous game to go rid the movie world of supervillains with your ultra-awesome VFX abilities! Like its predecessor, VJ2 includes all of your superpowers: Slow-Mo, Mach-Speed and Zoom-In, while adding in a few more techniques, Replay being the major highlight. Using all of these powers, you can reeealy mess up your enemy's day of work. The game releases This November 23rd on both the GameCube and PlayStation 2; but with the DS launch two days earlier, will most people have the money to rush out and buy this stellar sequel? Only time will tell. I certainly will buy this first! lol |

The original VJ was awesome. I think Capcom did a great job with the game, especially the gameplay and graphics. However, I'm not going to get VJ2... yet. Due to the huge amount of game releases this month, the DS' release and the fact that I still need to beat the first VJ, I'll hold off on buying my copy of VJ2.

The original VJ was awesome. I think Capcom did a great job with the game, especially the gameplay and graphics. However, I'm not going to get VJ2... yet. Due to the huge amount of game releases this month, the DS' release and the fact that I still need to beat the first VJ, I'll hold off on buying my copy of VJ2. Yes, I agree that the game was excellently done, and it refreshed the action-platformer genre. I'll say it again, I'm going to do the opposite, I'll hold out on DS, cause I just found out Feel the Magic is coming out this year, and at that I may get a DS earlier than expected. Which is just great, cause now I have more and more reasons to need money! Goodness... Sonic Mega Collection + coming out today, VJ2 on the 23rd, DS on the 21st, Metroid Prime right now, I'm over $200+ in video game debt lol. Heck maybe even the new side scrolling Mario is in my interest, I just need to see more of DS before I decide when I'm going to get it. |

I would get the game... but it's not really my style (not the graphics, the game itself)... I really don't like time/speed altering factors (unless it's like Slow/Haste spells like on Final Fantasy games and other RPGs)... That's why I never bothered to get the first game. It may have looked fun, but I don't know.. it just doesn't have that "feel" to it that I want/like..
Plus, I have too many games to get as it is anyways.. I'm getting one game today.. maybe 2 if I can swing it.. but I doubt it. But I could always just forget about recharging my phone card... don't NEED to...

Maybe not as well recieved as Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire or the Wind Waker, but it was indeed a cool game. |

The 23rd? Are you serious?!? That is the day that we get out for Thanksgiving break!! I can guarantee you that is what I will be doing for 6 days straight. It will be tough to put it down to study for finals though...  |

It will be tough to put it down to study for finals though... Unless you get a DS first.... it comes out 2 days earlier. But yeah, if I can come up with the ca$h to get it by then, I'll go on ahead and get it. I hope I do, cause I want it on release day since I think my Thanksgiving break begins around then. That's fine, I could skip getting the sequel for a day or two. And everyone has their interests ^_^ |
