We made th right choice of a tough system. When I watched an episode of XPlay on Wednesday, they had a segment in which they actually tested which console was the strongest: GameCube, PS2 and Xbox. They dropped a weight on them all, beat them with a sledgehammer and threw them of a roof of a building. From the details, The only thing to happen to our little friend the GCN in the FIRST round was simply flipping it over while unsnapping one of the bottom pieces, while the PS2 got chipped JUST enough to die and the Xbox got the green emblem on the top of the console got cracked and a few plastic pieces came off. In the 2nd round, the same thing happened to the GCN, flipping and losing one of the detachable parts, while the Xbox basically repeated the process as well. The third round, in which they were thrown of a roof, the GCN got the top piece where you load your discs out of position, while the Xbox lost the whole front piece(The Controller Ports and the Power switch, LOL). Apparently though, the contest was only to see if they would turn on, because the 'Cube didn't show the opening that meant a readable disc was in place. So, both really lost in the end, but at least the GCN would turn on. So, we have got ourselves one tough little friend. ^_^ GO US!

You would think the xbox would be stronger consitering it weighs 1000 lbs. ;D

You would think the xbox would be stronger consitering it weighs 1000 lbs. ;D Really guys, the Xbox is NOT that heavy, I can carry the box of X and I'm the weakest person who ever lived. I think I'm anorexic  |

Really guys, the Xbox is NOT that heavy, I can carry the box of X and I'm the weakest person who ever lived. I think I'm anorexic There's no indecision about anorexia. If you're anorexic, then you force yourself to be. Anyway, yeah, Xbox's != heavy. |

XBox is actually fairly heavy (it's almost the same weight as a PC tower).. especially for someone who has a bad weak back, like me. It would defiently be much easier if it had an extra strong handle.. like the GCN.. be alot easier carrying it.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to say that an XBox is pretty stinking light, considering all things. An XBox weighs 8 pounds and 13 ounces. The bigger-end notebooks PCs weigh only 9 pounds. An average one is like 5 pounds, and those things are like a feather. My tower for my PC weighs probably around 28 pounds (over 3 times as much), and it isn't too heavy. Compared, an XBox is pretty light, if you ask me. |

I didn't find X-box hard to carry... Although it's kinda awkward to hold it ( to me anyway ) I can still carry it . Gamecube wins at weight. |
