I just rented it yesterday, and I love it and all,but of course,I've found a way to criticize it.
The power shots really mess up the tournament gameplay.
Well not really the gameplay,but more of the time.
If you remember the original,you remember its matches were always finished quickly. Well,you get power shots so friggin often , it makes the matches way long.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Power Shots, actually. But, I have to wait until December before I can pick up my copy of Mario Power Tennis.

Well in the 64 game, if your with skilled people like me, and my cousins, the games were LONG. We played a simple 2 set match, I think it was, not sure how many games, our standard game is 2 sets I think..or 3...you know I dont know..anyways, they were forever!! One time me and my cousins, during thanksgiving decided to have a tournament. All of us were there, the family. We all played, and then it ended being me vs my cousin Andrew. Josh vs Nick, Josh won nick. But you know what, when it was me and Andrew...damn thing took 2 and half hours. Im not kidding either. everyone was all into it. It was just crazy. I won in the end, but man that game was just so freak'n tough. The final match was long too, but not as long as the semi final match.

Mario Power Tennis sounds like a great game. I loved the original on the N64, and I expect to love this one too when I get it for Christmas.  |

*cough*Kirbynightmareindreamland*cough* Yeah, K:NiD was fairly easy but had a lot to do afterwards, like the "Beat all 8 Bosses" side game. I hear if you beat that, you unlock Meta-Knight. And I waaaant to play as the Knight o.o |

Yeah, K:NiD was fairly easy but had a lot to do afterwards, like the "Beat all 8 Bosses" side game. I hear if you beat that, you unlock Meta-Knight. And I waaaant to play as the Knight o.o I think you have to get 100% in story mode. |
