Yeah, my mum and I went on an early Christmas shopping and she bought me MP2.
I played it, and I love it. And, the multiplayer was better than what I expected.

Yeah. This game sure is much more fun than MP. And a lot harder. But it's a lot less scarier. Well, at least to where I'm up to right now, which is not much.

Well, my parents got me MP2 for Christmas (I was kind of shocked, since I didn't get anywhere near completion on the first Metroid Prime), but I decided to keep it anyway, since I was going to buy it eventually and it'd be pretty stupid to trade in a game, then buy it over again... And from what I can tell, I'm loving this game much more than the original. Though there are minor improvements, I think it all adds up to the awesomeness. The interface isn't that tough to handle, since this time around it's not an icon that you need to get a lock onto, but instead the entire specimen's body is scannable, which is less time consuming. And the Logbook is also improved upon, with instead of multiple diagrams of the creature you scanned, but a full 3D model of the creature for you to examine. And of course, the graphics are, in my personal opinion, the GCN's best form of visuals I've seen. They're no Halo 2, but it does take advantage of GCN's power. And, finally, I think a story is clearer in the sequel than the predecessor. Since I didn't think the Space Pirates had too much of a role in Metroid Prime the first, I thought of it as a one-woman job, and the results were pretty dull. But in MP2, you have more than just Samus; the Luminoth play a pretty big role, giving you some pointers and some info on Dark Aether/the Ing. And the Ing, Marines that were ambushed and the Space Pirates play a minor role. It's the Marine's fault that you came, and the Space Pirates were the cause of the Marines getting there, and then the Luminoth decide to get you involved in the event of their race dying out because of the Ing. Pretty complex, and I think the chain of events at the beginning was a nice touch. Overall, I'm pretty impressed, but the multiplayer is pretty simplistic. Not too bad, but it isn't going to win Best Multiplayer in ANY video game award show You simply play "Hide, Seek and Destroy", with tons of power-ups scattered about. I like hopping in turrets and pwning everything. I just wish I could visit my friends and play it with them since I suck at multiplayer with my bro, but rock with friends. XD Oh well... Anyway, I just got to Dark Aether for the first time, and I cant't get out Finished off the Jump Guardian, gotten the Space Jump Boots, etc etc, but I can't leave. I can't find the portal outta there. Is it in the same room as the Jump Guardian? I hope so Reading is SUCH a chore.... but thanks to all who bothered reading this

Nah, you have to go all the way back to the portal where you arrived. You can backtrack the way you came, or go through one of the door in the room you beat Jump Guadian, and take a much more riskier way back.

I finally got a copy of Metroid Prime 2. I'm only about an hour in (I've been scanning everything, though and that takes time) and I love it. Definitely one of the best games of 2004!

LOL I need to play some more Echoes, too... I've just been a little busy lately. I'm not busy, it's just that like MP, the game can be really depressing and so I start to wanna play somethings that cheers me up, like MKDD, where you can always get a few laughs, or SSBM, which I simply love.
