Your smart. Anyway, RE4 keeps getting beter and better each time I play. At first it gets better and better. Then it gets better and harder and better. It's really tough where I am right now...

Spoiler Warning - First Boss.
Iam fighting the creature in the lake right now. I could have beat it, but wanted to see it eat me, so I didn't swim back to the boat. That thing is huge. ;D

I want the game, but I'm trying to get some info on it to get my parents to allow me to get RE4. I need to ask a few questions... 1) Is the blood overdone? My parents don't really like games that are infested with blood/gore, so this would be the major bit of info I'd need them to know. 2) Could this game have a heavy influence on how I think of the world? I know, it's a completely dumb question, but there's one kid in England who killed his friend because of Manhunt, and the way he killed the boy was similar to a way to kill someone in the game, so it can happen. 3) Will it give me nightmares? Not relating to what I'd want my parents to think, but I was scared of Dark Aether in Metroid Prime 2, so this could be worse. Though I don't seem to feel scared watching the trailor. 4) Is it realistic to a state that my parents wouldn't like it? (way things are killed, etc etc) Maybe Halo 2's fatalities are somewhat realistic, although my parent's didn't seem bothered. But still, is the portayal of the game somewhat realistic? Those seem to be all that I need to know. Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions for me .

Umm, well any game can do that. The people who ill people, and say it is from the games is not a true statement. The kids already had a problem before playing the game. 3. Most likely. ;D 4. It is pretty much realistic, on the looks and everything. Also the cult like way the villagers live could be real.

Okay, but on the blood, I meant like when people are shot, does the blood squirt all over the place unrealisticly? Otherwise, I don't feel like I'd have a tough time getting RE4.

This game won't change your worldview or anything. 3. Doubtful. The game really isn't that scary, just creepy. 4. People don't really die too realistically, but the death animations and actual deaths are often gruesome. As for your last question, the blood doesn't squirt out unrealistically. When you blast someone with a shotgun, blood flies in a splatter in the direction their body is flying. When you shoot them with the handgun, you get a little bit of blood that flies off mainly to let you know that you hit them. It's not flying everywhere like some games, but it's pretty gory when heads explode.

My little report for my Mom and Dad is coming along smoothly, but I'm not putting it in anyone's favor.

Blah, my answers were fine, you just don't have the capacity to understand. Quit complaining. You just said "Rated M for Intense Violence and Blood and Gore". I'd suggest you quit bashing people's ideas. If I thought Absent Elements was better at explaining the game than you, that's my opinion; you still did a good job. And might I add, last time I checked, I have Straight A's in school? Yes, I do. So leave me alone. ANYWAY, as it turns out, my Dad commended my research and allowed me to get the game! But my Mom still needs to pass the inspection, but if she does, I'll have it by tomorrow

Well, leave some indication that you were joking. No, it isn't my bedtime. I can go to bed at 10 'o' Clock. There, I'm done. Now get off my case.

Answer: You shouldn't. And, what makes you think I'm on medications? I'm just curious Now, please, can we get back on topic about Resident Evil 4?
