Guys, look at that Sales website I posted a couple of days ago; it's been updated, and the amount of copies for games sold is amazing; PM2 is already past half a million units! And Mario Power Tennis is almost at 300k. Not to mention Sonic Adventure 2 Battle just made a million units. And thankfully, Baten Kaitos' numbers are picking up; it's nearly at 60k units. That's not a lot, for sure, but it originally had 18k units; that's what I think of as "TEH BOMB!". And Tales of Symphonia is almost at 300k, which is good. And Donkey Konga has nearly equal numbers with ToS. And, Pikmin 2 is almost at 300,000. And lastly, Eternal Darkness is almost at 300,000 (which makes me wonder why it isn't Player's Choice...) God, I hope I have enough money to get these games by the Summer, if that's when they go Player's Choice. But anyway, apparently the huge jump in GameCube sales apparently wasn't ONLY for Resident Evil 4. Nintendo must be VERY happy if these many units were indeed sold with nearly TWO WEEKS...

*looks at the updated list* WarioWare: Mega Party Game$ is doing better than I thought it would. I'm also glad that Pikmin 2 has cracked the top ten.

But I am shocked by the increase in sales of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Mario Power Tennis; if these charts are correct, then they sold 200k+ units within nearly two weeks. That is amazing for a Nintendo game like PM2. Mario Power Tennis, well, I'm sort of suprised that it sold less than 100,000 units with 2004. I thought it was a pretty popular game, the original Mario Tennis. But still, Nintendo must be VERY happy about the money they've just made. It's also good to know some people aren't just buying a new GCN for Resident Evil 4.

It looks all of those gift cards from the holiday season are being spent on Mario Power Tennis.

Well, Sonic at least proved that a 3rd party game can sell a million on the Cube. Took it a while, but it made it.
RE4 deserves it though. Heck, I thought Twin Snakes would have sold a lot better than it did.

Heck, I thought Twin Snakes would have sold a lot better than it did. Yes, there are indeed plenty of games that deserve more than it did; Skies of Arcadia sold about 135,000, and Baten Kaitos nearly at 65,000 units. I know plenty of us enjoy RPGs, but if these kinds of sales keep up, Pokemon Colloseum will be GCN's best selling RPG, and I didn't like that game. Yes, RE4 definitely deserves it though. To me, it is the best game for GCN, and it was even the first Mature-rated game I bought. Definitely telling me to NEVER buy M-Rated games for another five years. :-D

Hey, you're missing out on some great games by skewering away from the M-rated ones. Some do have quality to them.

I really want to play some other Mature ones (I hope to play MGS: Twin Snakes, I dunno what makes it mature.... And Eternal Darkness is in stock at the military base ), but you know what overprotective mothers will say!

Well, I thought Eternal Darkness was a terrific game. It gets the M for some horror elements, blood, and an overall very mature storyline. It was one of the few examples where Gameplay and Storyline went hand in hand, rather than the gameplay excelling over the storyline, or vice versa. I definitely recommend it.
As for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, I wasn't too impressed by it, as the storyline and cinematics far outweighed and outclassed the actual game. Though that's just my personal opinion, but frankly I learned that Metal Gear games probably weren't going to be something that I was going to thoroughly enjoy. This got a mature for mature dialogue and storyline, and also blood.
But I'd definitely recommend the Resident Evil Remake and Eternal Darkness, as far as what's available on the Cube.

I really do want them both, but I probably won't get either one because of the rating. No matter what they say, if blood's there, my Mom won't let me buy it. She did with Resident Evil 4, but she only did it because I wanted her to be informed. And I don't play it much; not because I don't like it, but I don't move fast, because I take it too slowly to be prepared for any zombie attacks. I admit to getting scared everytime I play it, but I have no plans of getting my money back; it's a great game, and I want to finish it. Just, at my age these type things really are scary, and I take too much time in a single level. I'm actually frightened to death when I decide where to go, because I think that a mob of the European undead will come out of nowhere to attack and kill me. When you know I'm only twelve years old, you might be able to understand my case. So yes, personally I'd love to buy more Mature games, but RE4 has impacted me on horror games heavily, so I don't know if I really should pick them up. I'll just stick with E- and T-rated games until the time of my maturity. Then I'll consider.

Ah, you're 12, I understand. Heh, yep. Things aren't always what they seem on the internet, eh? I've been told I act and speak a lot more mature than my age would get people to think. Anyways, yeah, I think RE4 will be it for me, for now... I'm currently preparing a paper for my English class about my tale of buying RE4, and the so-called "lesson" I learned from it. If you may be a little confused about the lesson, it's that Mature games are Mature rated for a reason. I had no other real story with a lesson I cared to give the slightest bit of notice.

Heh Never under estimate a "best seller" on it . Technically that really annoys me to have a big ugly gold symbol on my game box that says: "BEST SELLER!" Now I wouldn't mind if they would have put a sticker on the packaging that could be removed, but apprently not. It really gets in the way =/.

It would have been much better if Nintendo made it a sticker.
