Has anyone played the GBA of Fire emblem yet? I love the series and really hyped about the gamcube version this year along with Starfox and the new Zeld. Anyway I found those pictures of the new gamecube version, it seems to be looking good ;D www.jeux-france.com/news7812_fire-emblem.html

yes, I own and love the GBA Fire Emblem. Had a cool story and great play mechanics, definately beats out Tactics Ogre Advance as my favorite SRPG on GBA. Fire Emblem and Advance Wars 1/2 have given me countless hours of joy...thank you intelligent systems ;D

I've never played FE or any of the Advance Wars (until I do, Nippon Ichi Software of Disgaea fame is the number one strategy RPG maker. Play one and figure out the basics to find out. ), but I sure would like to try them. Both got a 5 out of 5 from X-Play, and I usually trust their reviews.

Symphonic, I own Disgaea and yes I love it. Second best SRPG of all time (behind Final Fantasy Tactics). I hope to get La Pucelle soon. Anyway, no GBA SRPG has that amount of depth obviously, but as far as the genre goes on GBA Fire Emblem is the best there is.

I haven't had the chance to play any Fire Emblem games. But, I am considering getting the GameCube version and/or the second GBA version (FE: The Sacred Stones). I'm leaning towards the GameCube version, because the cinematics really cool and since it's basically the same gameplay, I might as well get the nicer-looking Fire Emblem. Also, welcome to the RN Forums, Sigurd!

Also, welcome to the RN Forums, Sigurd! Thanks . Kevin-RN I believe those pictures were around back in Nov and IS did hold back the release of FE in Japan which was late Jan but now it is April the 20th. From know I know around Nov it was arond 80 to 90% complete, so I am guessing that they are cleaning the graphics up a bit now, though I do remember that the video clip that they released back in Nov that the map models weren't so jagged, though IGN has taken down that movie now Anyway I found this new scan, just remember it just a scan from a camera, so it not that bad as it look on here, plus there are new characters artworks img159.exs.cx/img159/7712/firegc5ej.jpgBTW click on the picture to make it bigger ;D

Yeah, there's never been a role-playing game besides Disgaea, La Pucelle and Phantom Brave that allows you to get to level 9999... You've got to be insane to get to that kind of level. Apparently people do, if they have too much time on their hands. But anyway, I plan to get FE soon.
