Well, today when I went out shopping to Target (Had to pick up some photos and my brother's acne medication), I went to the games on clearance and found TimeSplitters 2 on Clearance for ten bucks. So I ask; do you think I should buy? I'm not a big fan of most FPSs, but I seem to have an interest in it. Could you tell me about it and see what I think? Thanks for the help.

It is a really good game, it is kinda hard to get used to how cartoony it is at first, but very fun. Just make sure you mess with the controls a bit before playing, as the aiming can feel very messed up. But, if you liked Goldeneye, this is by the same team and it really shows..I can't wait for Future Perfect.

Only $10? GET IT! TimeSplitters 2 is an awesome game that is the closest we'll ever get to a sequel to the N64's GoldenEye. It's a lot of fun, especially the multiplayer mode. I highly recommend it.

If you're waiting for Future Perfect, you might as well wait a couple days longer. If you're not, Time Splitters 2 is definitely worth $10.

Yeah it is a good pick-up for 10 bucks. Single player is sort of weak, but multiplayer is fast and fun. My friends and I play that more than almost any other of my games (excluding Super Smash Bros Melee and Donkey Konga).

Guess I should. I'll see if I can get it very, very soon.

Alright, so I got Future Perfect. In my opinion, it's better than Time Splitters 2. There's a storyline to follow, humorous dialogue, a ton of multi-player options, and best of all, for those with a PS2 or Xbox, online multi-player. Check it out, especially if you own the other two consoles.

I can't speak for the Cube version, but the Xbox version has tons of offline multi-player options. You can play all the multi-player modes with bots, a 'league' where you compete in multi-player with objectives, and then you have split-screen.

I'm guessing that the 'Cube version will have the same features... There's no reason for Free Radical to leave this stuff out of the GCN version.

Yes the options have expanded on those of Timesplitters 2. The offline content is all there on the GC version, only the online portion was cut.

The only problems I have with TS FP is that they got rid of flame tag and also you can't unlock new levels or match types.
