I know I can't speak for everyone, but when news of so many PS2 exclusives came to my door, I was enraged. Hell, there are some games that are going to be released on all other systems (even PC) that aren't going to hit Gamecube. These are a few I'd like to see on Cube: Ghost Rider (Currently only going to PS2 and Xbox) Soul Calibur 3 (Currently going only to PS2) Devil May Cry 3 (Only on PS2) Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 (Only on PS2) Katamari Damacy We Love Katamari Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 Okami
Anybody else miffed or would like to post suggestions?

I've heard that Soul Calibur III is only a limited-time exclusive. It might come to other systems (or an upgraded version on next-gen systems) later on. As for games I'd like to see come to the 'Cube, the only one that comes to mind at the moment is Katamari Damacy. It sounds a really fun, unique game.

If that news about soul calibur 3 going to the other consoles after a few months on the ps2 is true, I think it was the right decision. Soul calibur 2 was a flop on ps2 and I can't see soul calibur 3 being any different which is why it should go on the other consoles.

Well, most of those franchises have been ps2 exclusive from the start, so I'm not really surprised. It does suck that we dont get the MGS series since it is one of the better series in video games. Besides that, the only two I would really even hope for at some point would be Okami and Katamari Damacy. I would like to think that Soul Calibur III is coming to other systems, but even if it doesnt Im not going to buy it (I have a ps2). I will not support stupid decision making by companies like Namco by purchasing their products.

Ehh...as a Multiconsole owner, I really don't care. But as for MGS 2 & 3 (which are awesome), it's really better to have them on one disc. There's no way a GCN disc could hold Sons of Liberty or Snake Eater without compressing the crap out of the movies, and you can progress through areas without having to change the disc like you did in Twin Snakes. (Even if it was only at one spot, I don't like to change the disc )

I will not support stupid decision making by companies like Namco by purchasing their products. You still buy Nintendo, despite them making stupid decisions sometimes. Soul Calibur III is the only one you stand a chance of seeing, and that might be a next-gen port. Nintendo gets screwed by third parties, learn to deal with it. That's why I got a PS2 and will get a PS3.

Absent Elements - Good point. The only difference being that Namco has very few franchises I enjoy and Nintendo has all of the franchises I can't live without . So though Nintendo also makes wacky decisions on a normal basis, the ps2 exclusive SC does not make ANY sense to me in ANY way. The gamecube version of the game sold the best...so they put it on ps2? This just doesnt seem...correct.

Not to mention that Nintendo needs the support in that department... Anyway, I think I know how the SC III situation came about: "Hey Namco, how's it going?" "Pretty good, Sony." "Say, I have this very large amount of money. How about an exclusive on SC III" "Wow, that's a lot of... of course, consider it done"

Namco! Make SC3 an exclusive, or else I'll sic Martha Stewart on you!! MARTHA: RARRRRRR! HERE'S A PIE!! NAMCO: NO!! Not the pie!! All right, I'll do anything! Just... Not the pie...

The Devil May Cry and Kingdom Hearts franchises have only appeared on Sony's platforms (excluding the GBA title). Fat chance that'll change at the end of the console's life cycle. Who knows though, Capcom might pull a Resident Evil on us.

I'd love to see Kingdom Heats 1 & 2 come to Gamecube. I'm dying to give the games a try, but the only people I know with a PS2 are my cousins, and I only see them 3-4 times a year, and they don't usually rent games, so ... I doubt I'll ever play them.
