I recently read that there is a possibility of a Metroid Prime film going to be made.
What do you guys think? Good idea or Bad??

bad... do you see what happened to pokemon? it used to be cool to play that game! The Poke'mon movies didn't really destroy the series. Although the games have gone down in value, it's only because they're doing the same thing over and over. A Metroid movie would be cool, but there would have to be a lot of Nintendo and Retro people involved for me to go see it. |

Although the games have gone down in value, it's only because they're doing the same thing over and over. sorry... what about the mario movie? or the zelda cartoons? sonic x? The kirby cartoon? They all sucked... Unless nintendo can pull off a Sleeper, then I will laugh like mario when it fails! |

I honestly don't know at this point. I'm interested in seeing how the movie is going to be done, considering that most of Metroid only involves Samus. There aren't very many other characters and it'll be kind of weird if they add a ton of new characters for the movie. Also, welcome to the RN Forums, Ikaruga.  |

Films based on games have proven time and time again that the whole concept is a bad idea. It would be pretty cool to see metroids and space pirates on film though, even if the movie sucked.
