I've been looking at this game for some time now. It's quite obvious that it's a title doomed to stay in the confines in Japan (As was Jump Superstars). It's a fighting game, and much like Jump Superstars, is in the vein of Smash Bros., but with a few original twists to help keep the formula fresh.
The playable characters include Simon Belmont, Solid Snake, Bomberman, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Twinbee, Master Higgins (not seen since the Adventure Island games), plus many more from games like Beyblades, Poweful Pro Baseball, and such. And for the record, it's a collab effort between Konami, Hudsonsoft, and some other company whose name I forget.
I might want to import it, but I hear you need to mod your Gamecube (or PS2) just to play it. So there's more money. Pfft, maybe I'll wait until after the Rev to import this one; I still have RE: Deadly Silence, Chibi Robo, Baten Kaitos 2, and Twilight Princess to get...
But if anyone is able to mod their GCN/PS2, I'd say go ahead and import it from Lik-Sang or Play Asia.

I've heard a lot of different things about Dream Mix. Some people think it's great while others think it sucks. The one thing that I always hear, though, is that it pales in comparison to Smash Bros.

But it has Solid Snake, Optimus Prime, and Simon Belmont all in the same game. That is teh awesomeness, my friend. BTW, people might say that Jump Superstars pales in comparison to Smash, but I can safely say that it is just as good. ;D |

Mido the First-Person Shooter, Navi Bug n' Go, Edward: Sthingyy Bard Saga, and Metal Geek Solid: Wrath of Otacon--why the hell not?! The world is ending!! *Mushrooms and brimstone begin to fall from the sky* EDIT: What the heck??? *referring to "thingy"* It's an innocent word, derived from the name of a KITCHEN UTENSIL! What is WRONG here?! It was his nickname in Final Fantasy IV! What is going on?! |
